She was a child when she was groomed to go. She was a child until she was 18. We have a criminal system that has an age of resposibilty at 10 years.
More should have been done then to safeguard her when she was here in the UK.
She probably is desensitised to what she has seen. That’s quite usual. We have no idea of her home life but for others who witness abuse in the home it can go two ways. One it’s normal and using violence is fine. The other is to not use violence. Maybe the trauma of losing her children has had an impacy too.
From a brief review of twitter it would seem most don’t want her to return. She hasn’t (yet) been made stateless so I suppose she can come back and be dealt with by the authorities. Not sure what would happen to baby once born. She would be monitored a huge amount if out in the community.
It will be interesting to see what happens

She is now a legal adult @tigger so how about this as a fair humane solution.
Allow this British citizen to enter Britain. Treat her with dignity. Recognise her human right to continue her pregnancy and to give birth without unnecessary stress, a right that should be accorded to every pregnant woman without exception, regardless of how serious a crime she may have committed and indeed regardless of what crime she may have been convicted of. If there is found to be sufficient evidence to warrant a prosecution, then charge her and give her a fair trial after she has had her baby.

Not often I find myself in agreement with JSP but she mentions some things worth remembering.

Legally yes. She was brainwashed as a child and left the country(who let her out the country?), to follow the beliefs that had been indoctrined. She’s been normalised to most horrific things, whilst getting pregnant 3 times and losing 2 of them, at the tender age of 19. That’s surely as horrific as anything she saw(i’ll let the ladies decide how traumatic losing two children is by the age of 19).
I see nothing but a victim, who by the way has apparently had a healthy son. Let’s get her home before this one dies.
