With regards to this years foreign aid budget, we should cancel most of the money going into the third world and send the equivalent amount in vaccines
The population of these countries get some that actually benefits them and the despots don’t get the opportunity to trouser the cash

I had COVID a few weeks ago. Awful. In bed for nearly 2 weeks. Chills at night, fever, aches. Dehydration. Brain fog. Sleeping 12 hours a day every day. Whenever I managed to drink something it would usually make me cough and then retch. All food tastes like shit. I haven’t been ill like that for a long time. I’m less than 40.

My folks had the same thing. They are waiting until there is a more local option available.
Bless the old boy. He gave the country a huge lift when we needed it and was a reminder of a generation that didn’t just take what was thrown at it but turned a negative into a positive. It would be a sad irony if he succumbs to Covid given his efforts to fight the virus. Hang in there Tom!
