No reason at all, and I would do it in a heart beat. However people would make political capital out of it because we had to buy it in and didnt have our own system ready to go.
It feels a bit like the govt designing their own operating system because they dont want to use Windows
Itâs more likely to be jobs for the boys than any perception of cap in hand.
Why pay money to a competent company that could have got something up and running in a short space of time when you can give 10 times the amount to your mate (who runs a software development company) and get some of that back as kick backsâŠ
Good job i have grown a protective thatch during lockdown⊠swept back to cover the old patch⊠like and aging roadie⊠(past being an aging rock god)
OK, the quarantine plans are a shambles and should have been in place ages ago but why the f**k do the airlines think they should have been consulted over the plans? If it was up to the airlines Iâm pretty sure that they wouldnât have stopped flights in the first place!!
Ah, so this absolute shit show is all the fault of the scientific advisors, hand picked by Johnson and co. Nothing to do with us guv! One eye on the day of reckoning already, fall guys being set up. This will be their story and Iâm sure they will be desperately sticking with it. Itâs all theyâve got. Advisors advise, governments decide. Johnson wonât willingly take any responsibility, why change the habit of a lifetime. Accountability is only for successes, not failures. Especially epic failures which result in the deaths of tenâs of thousands of people, and a wrecked economy, and now, three months later the infection rate rising and the likelihood of being back where we started. The shit we are in now is a direct result of decisions made by Johnson in March, April and May. Every decision made flew in the face of everything being done by the rest of the world, most of whom have the epidemic under control. No wonder they have started scrabbling around looking to pass the buck, I bet Johnson, Cummings and co are shitting themselves, they have lost control of this crisis and are making it up as they go along. Beneath contempt, lower than fucking vermin.
I donât disagree, and I have been vehemently opposed to this Government, however, try and read the reports as a level-headed individual, and donât take into account the fact that the people running the country are odious cunts.
All the way through this the government have had advice from scientists, much of it contradictory with differing advice. The governmentâs job is to weigh up the advice and decide what they will go with. Itâs on them. I see Hancock was on his own today, iâm not surprised after the disgraceful decision to ignore Whitty and Vallanceâ advice and ease the lockdown measures despite still being at level 4. Whitty spelt out unequivocally that this was âa political decision, not based on the scienceâ. Which as we know was made, on the hoof, to distract from the Cummings furore and get him off the front pages. From the word go they have ignored all science followed successfully by the majority of the rest of the world, who are now starting to get their lives back to some semblance of normality, which for us is starting to look further away than ever. A complete shitshow, and any attempt by the government to deflect responsibility on to their advisors for decisions they were solely responsible for will surely be seen for what it is. Weak, dishonest and cowardly.
Well Trump tells us the virus is âmean and nastyâ, almost human like qualities, so even if you canât see it I bet the crafty little bastard will start humming the theme from Jaws as it approaches.
