:watfordfc: Watford v Saints :saints: (PL)

The stream posted by @Goatboy worked fine for me. Didn’t have to try anywhere else.

You’re funny :rofl::joy:

Odds on that?

The running out of steam was clear.

We’re fitter & faster definitely but need to get back to the levels I recall from the Pochettino era(I may be misremembering obvs)

After Valerys beautiful skill and pace, followed by a cross from the under 11s, there was no other outcome.
Would’ve taken a point beforehand, so will take the disappointment, purely because it highlights where change is needed.
Looking at it in the old way, in our own hands on the last day and i’m confident in this group(maybe not Stephens).
Stay up and the transfer threads alone, will be more fun than the previous 2 seasons.

Oh FFS. We’d have all taken a point at the start of this match - be honest with yourself. Forget about the 95mins in between, it’s just a game with 22 people chasing a pig’s bladder.

On to the next bladder chasing, 3 points and safety.

All that’s then left is finding a bar big enough for us all to meet pre-Udders. Maybe you can come along Barry so we can all understand that under that keyboard warrior persona, you’re just a regular Mr nice guy.

How is that post keyboard warrioresque in any way? We’re in need of an absolutely huge squad change, I mean a huge one.

I disagree, as i have before and i’ll ask again, as i have before, who’s in and who’s out, from the present squad. What do you think we’ll get from your sales and who should we buy with money raised?
Just the who’s out, will do for now😉

But given we’ve had two managers and two totally different half-seasons, we’re doing pretty well in the second half. I assume that you don’t want to accept that?

Pretty sure no one deserves to be “bought” from another club unless one that comes up throws big money at them. All comes down to who really, really doesn’t want to play for us again.

I’d not realised that before this game, we’d dropped 23 points from winning positions … the worst in the league. That’s now 25 and we’re still worst. Plenty to work on over the summer ! We still love 'em though and it’s nearly mathematically ok for me to go to SMS. Uber excited. SCD

Sterling to Barca or Real, we lose Redmond (Pep likes him)
Otherwise Targett, Stephens, Hoedt, Carillo, Reed, Gallagher, Hesketh, Cedric, Macca or Forster, Chazza all go.

A striker from Germany, a youngish CB from EEurope, a nipper at LB and Ings in on a permanent deal

No team NEVER drops points from winning positions so don’t for a minute think we could be on 64 points & challenging for UCL

:sunglasses:

Why not, I’m going to be the anti-Bazza happy clapper next season. Champions of England … sounds great doesn’t it.

Oh, by the way, looks like we’ve got a “home” away game next season if Narwich get promoted. Happy to arrange a rendezvous in Carrotland for all you Southern unwashed.

As said above, I’d have taken that before the game so I’m going to be positive about it. It does however show the importance of getting the second goal and being clinical.

A good point because once you factor in our superior goal difference that means Cardiff need to get seven points from their remaining games and us lose our remaining three. Can they avoid defeat at Old Trafford on the last day? Will Fulham roll over or want to take them down with them? Can Palace do a job on them like they so often do away from home?

Plus, we realistically should be aiming for at least 7 points from our remaining games.

I was watching the Brighton game and it looked like they’d grind out a point up until that lovely strike from Eriksen. Everything Spurs threw at them was blocked or scrambled away. Toby hit the inside of the post and it came out. Basically they will be hurting and will know they really have to beat Newcastle or risk being in a world of shit. They probably will scrape out a win but it won’t be pretty because their game plan needs to be very different from tonight’s showing and they don’t score many goals.

From the squad I’d like Stephens gone, Yoshida to stay but only as a squad player, I like him but he is not the standard required, Elyounoussi, Austin, Long, Targett, Forster.
We’ll probably get offers for JWP, Bertrand, Redmond, Hojbjerg and Lemina as well.

You confident we’ll improve the squad and first XI?
We haven’t done that for 4 years, what gives you hope and optimism with our crook owner?

Nothing short of witchcraft would see us shift all of those players!

Ings has already signed permanently Phil, it was a 4 year deal last summer but a year loan initially because we ‘ran out’ of coin.

Yes, but technically still a “loan” so will be in the media etc.

Do you honestly think Brighton are capable of scoring another goal in the EPL?
Yes they may grind out a draw or two but scoring?
Nah.

Oh I thought it was part of your wish list so I was just letting you know it’s already a done deal.

We need to get him some new hamstrings in the summer.

I forgot about Carillo, Cedric and Hoedt all on loan, fuck our squad and signings have been fucking wank for years.
