I know that you have a low opinion of the Board, but not everyone thinks they are on the take. They have a business to run. Thank god they are not running it into the ground,
Then I take it sustainability and measured advancement is not for you.
If that is the case then they are doing a very bad job of it.
I think it’s very clear that NYS says a lot of stuff as a wind up or for attention.
Frustration mainly
and hopefully never personal
Fucknuggets on SWF are starting multi LFC threads.
Does anyone remember the computer game “Peter Shilton’s Handball Maradona”?
I reckon we need a similarly situationally obscure game for VVD. “Virgil Trains Alone”.
I have published 'A Modest Proposal (re Virgil van Dijk)" on my blog.
Sorry Reds, the fonts far to small for my aging eyes at this time on a saturday night
… unless you’re Les Reed or Kat Leibherr of course
I think I have fixed it.
Tbf - I’ve got to the stage where I don’t care if he leaves or not.
We’ve had some shit pre-season games where he couldn’t be arsed to turn up, but can’t see he’d have made any difference.
He isn’t showing ay loyalty to the contract he signed so fuck him. Sell him on to another club so he can shaft them for more…
Really disappointed he turned out to be so shallow after the opportunity Saints gave him
I feel dirty, but this from fiverweb

VVD has met personally with LR twice in the last two days (disclaimer: one of those could have been a phone call). Fairly amicable meetings by all accounts given the circumstances and the fact that they basically hate each other. LR apparently is open to the idea of selling VVD providing a) the offer meets our valuation (sorry, I don’t know what that is) and b) the deal is done with at least three weeks of the transfer window remaining to give us enough time to get a top quality replacement. In light of VVd’s stance, we have stepped up our monitoring of the CB targets on our list and starting informal discussions with clubs. LR and VVD discussed Liverpool; both parties recognise that selling him to Liverpool would be a hugely unpopular move with our fanbase, even though Saints believe they will get the most money from Liverpool. Apparently, VVD has softened a little and would consider moving to another top club besides Liverpool. He’s totally hell bent on leaving though. Interesting development - apparently Chelsea have indicated to VVD’s agent that they no longer have an interest. He was definitely talking to them a few months back but he picked Liverpool over them so perhaps understandable that they’ve moved on but when you consider they’ve lost Terry, Zouma and Ake, they are short at the position. As things stand, there are no bids for him at all but the feeling is that won’t be the case for long now the news is out.
Sorry, nothing groundbreaking or solid today but seems the club are open to the idea of selling him privately, if not yet publicly.
I want to know more about this strike business.
How does that work? Does VVD mill about on Brittania Road, angrily shouting “scab” at all those players in their nice motors going in for “pittance wages”?
My little toe nail aches a bit. I’m a bit worried my whole leg will fall off if I kick a ball, maybe it’s best if I don’t play.
greedy cunt
VVD needs to sort his shit out, he seems to be having some sort of midlife issue.
Has he joined a band yet?
