Ive looked at potential replacements on the web and Andreas Christensan looks to me like the nearest one with enough quality we could get who would be within our restriction policy. He can also play DM. I dont know but maybe £20m

Not sure about sustainability because its too random with TV money and owners. Basically to be sustainable I think you need an owner to put money into the club regularly. this is what hapened when we were advancing under Mussilini. I cant rememvber the figures but annually we would buy and show a deficit. Thiss changed when Kat came in. The Koman effect was a combination of a good manager and momentum. Once the balance the transfer books sustainability sustainability kicks in there is no advancement without blinding excellent management (which I hope for by the way).
I dont support the recent board policies as I think they are a determent to the club. I also dont think this is an outragous statment. From where I stand it means the club will stand still. If you fans are happy with that that is OK for you. My opinion is it is a massive opportunity missed.
I also think that the main problem with supporters is we want diffrent things. I hold the propbably unpopular view and maybe unrealistic view that I hope the club will grow eventually to be a major force. Hope is always the strongest emotion to quote Hunger Games.
When during a geography lesson in the seveties the subject of Solent City I was immediatly bought in. The urbanisation of the Prtmaouth and Southampton area to become one City region appealled to me. The time has gone now but I was hoping Southampton holdings or some othr consortium would have bought Portsmouth FC and basically wound it down so there was one team on the Solent.
Finally this is the only forum I think where these sort of 'left field ’ views can be sort of tolerated or at least voiced. I would say dont be patting yourselves on the back too much about having such an open liberal forum unlike the dark side if they are not.
Hopefully these statements about the board not acting in the best interests on the club will not be viewed as some kind of fith colum, back stapping thought. Hopefully they will be considerered as just different from your own as I think it is too easy to get into slagging matches.
I think most of you are wrong in your blind faith and Im sure most of you think I am wrong in my blind dreaming. I would like to be near the top or at the top. I dont really mind what division it is

Hardly blind faith though is it given the progression of SFC since we were in Division 1?
I don’t get the animosity and suspicion levelled at those passing on ITK info. They are either right or wrong, so take it as you please. We lost Jack Schitt because of the flak fired at him. We are not as bad as the Dark Side, but we still seem to assume people are on the wind up as a default position.

No animosity at all. As I said I find it strange that someone would start a thread about one player then hijack it to discuss a player who already has their own lengthy thread. STRANGE!

Hijack it? TBH how many threads ever stay on track? The only strange thing for me is that he could have had his say on the VVD thread but does it really matter? He hasnt broken any laws and if what he says is kosher, fair play for passing it on.

I have to say that this is all panning out pretty much exactly as I had envisaged from the start. As a consequence I’m minded to believe that ‘ITK’ information.
It has happened too many times to believe anything will change and for us to be able to reasonably expect a different outcome.
Indeed, if he does stay then this would represent an exception to the rule and would lend hope to even the most pessimistic fans (such as my good self) that we can overcome such intense approaches and media campaigns to dislodge our best players.
For that reason alone I feel this is a very important decision for the club and will in many ways demonstrate the direction that they intend to take. I don’t believe that is being overly dramatic because it would sure make a nice change being able to read headlines to the effect that we were able to resist the overtures of Liverpool, just this once.
In any event it is not ideal to go in to the season potentially without our captain and strongest team available. Any new players that arrive will also not be afforded a pre season with the side and before you know it several of the fairly favourable early season matches will be gone before the window closes and before this matter is likely fully resolved.
I cant help but feel this is yet another example of history repeating itself.
For me he is gone. The only hope that remains is that it is not to Liverpool.

But Jack Schitt did not get flak for being ‘ITK’, he got deserved flak for saying he was in ITK, but actually saying nothing that was not already in the public domain threaded togeteher with reasonable assumption. There was 'literally ‘Jack Schitt’ in his ‘revelations’- Even the post above is more speculation than fact and to most, revealing some meetings have taken place between VVD and LR is simply what you would expect under thes circumstances.
People get Flak because: a) if they REALLY are in the know, then they should keep their traps shut because the clubs wants to do its business in confidence. Not sure employees shoudld be pasing on such things. b) Often its also BS presented as ITK gossip to support an Agenda or POV - again just bollox and c) 99% is just BS to get attention -which given he revealed absolutely nothing is what was levelled at JS, who should have just 'fessed up and we could all have had a laugh and got on with stuff.
But he did reveal things Chutters. One of which was wrong and he held his hands up to that. All clubs leak things when it is in their interest to do so. The media and Internet forums are full of bullshit, conjecture, opinion and occasional facts. It is up to the individual as to what is believed. It would be a more boring world without input from ITKers or supposed ITKers.
Sorry Soggy… nothing he posted was not already published or specuated elsewhere… 'Also presenting leaks as ITK is not really ITK…
If you are genuinely ITK the last thing you’ll be doing is posting it on a public forum…
