I hate people like that. We come across this at work from time to time, and whilst we wheedle them out eventually, their actions are so subversive and corrosive they have caused untold damage before we can get them.
Yup. Just one hire can change the entire dynamic of a company. I haven’t seen outright bullying in a workplace for some time, but I can tell you that it wrecks lives and leaves people feeling worthless. Some people just won’t have it at all, and end up leaving. That was my choice. Others stick around, live miserable lives, end up having a breakdown and being broken for six months. That happened to a mate of mine; I was on pep talk duty for about a year.
Bullying happens; it’s just a fact of life. Tolerating it is damaging, both to the people involved and the reputation of the organisation concerned.
As we’ve discussed before, rattling the cage of a shorter gentleman is a bad idea. The shorter gentleman is already pissed off about being short, anything else tends to push him over the edge.
I’m biting your fucking knees off at the next drinks
I suspect that as they have their ministerial scalp, and provided that the internal investigation castigates that piece of shit (assuming he is of course guilty of bullying) then I suspect it will disappear rather quickly.
Alternatively Corbyn will be creating enough waves to sink it without trace.
The bullying scandal rolls on. Forty people are to be questioned, including Lord Feldman.
Lord Feldman, the barrister handpicked by David Cameron to chair the Conservative Party, is to be questioned by staff investigating the bullying scandal that has engulfed the party’s youth wing.
He is among more than 40 witnesses who will be asked to give evidence to party officials investigating the affair.
A leading City law firm, Clifford Chance, has been instructed to prepare a report on the issues raised, with a remit to assess whether complaints were handled properly and “identify any individuals who were at fault”.
Very damaging considering the context. The Tory Party is already seen by some as the Nasty Party, but those objections have always been glossed over by those that have benefited from their policies. We’ve already seen working people attacked with the abandoned tax credits move. The revelation that Tories aren’t even fucking nice to themselves can’t help.
In other news, Philip Hammond does the ministerial equivalent of taking his wedding ring off, all to receive a freebie £2K watch from a Sheikh.
The Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond accepted a watch worth almost £2,000 from a Saudi sheikh despite a ban on ministers taking gifts worth more than £140.
Mr Hammond has argued he accepted the £1,950 watch in his capacity as a constituency MP, which meant the ministerial rule did not apply, The Sunday Times reported.

Really what an earth did she think with merging those emails as one example. Where is the one with the threat in? The one she tagged it into wasn’t really very bad now.
Social media should be removed from anyone in the public eye. They would be shielded from abuse and they wouldn’t be tempted to make utter dickheads of themselves.
I’ve been keeping an eye on the Twitter hashtag #sacklucyallan. It managed to get to 5th in the trending charts; some very interesting viewpoints out there and no death threats as far as I can make out.
Lucy Allan has deleted her Twitter account, citing co-ordinated abuse from Labour. It’s coordinated criticism, surely, but at least she’s shown herself capable of transitioning from outright fabrication to mere exaggeration.
Glenn Greenwald, the guy who broke the Snowden story, is asking why this isn’t getting more coverage in the media. I am too. This is an MP that for whatever reason, defamed one of her constituents. That is a serious charge which is going to going to worry anyone in Telford writing to her with a concern, especially if it’s critical. Gotta go, imo.
