Eastern Ukraine is mostly ethnic Russian. The two separatist republics have been getting shelled by Ukrainian forces for the past eight years. Why would there be resistance in Eastern Ukraine from the ethnic Russian population? Do they miss being shelled?
Why are their saviours having to raze the territory they want to control to the ground, makes no sense at all.
I donât think they have. In the places that were already under separatist control, they havenât. Otherwise, itâs war. Forces take defensive positions. Those positions are bombed. This isnât the Germans systematically going about Warsaw to completely obliterate it before they left.

100âs of thousands of Civilians still in the area, Russia operating a scorched earth policy and War could last months or longer.

I think he has said 50-100 people are dying in the east so this could include Russians, the Russians have lost more now than they did in the entire Afghan war, the Russians donât like body bags (who does) coming back home as they think theyâre invincible, over 15,000 so far and that is pretty much guaranteed, so it could be more.
The thing is is most come from shithouse outback redneck towns and cities and not from Moscow or Leningrad so the movers, shakers and fascists donât get to hear about it.
And Biden coming out today saying the US will help defend Taiwan could have huge ramifications, Russia without China is screwed, China would toss Russia aside for Taiwan, now the US has publicly guaranteed Taiwan will anger Beijing hugely.
