So who is left
Have we still got a quorum in the forum?

Have we still got a quorum in the forum?
No-one has been banned or anything. Things just need to cool down and things really arenât going to work out if trolling tops posting.
How about we lock the thread for say a week and have an agreement not to start another war thread or wreck others
I feel that there are plenty of other subjects that we can fall out over which are not getting the attention they merit
Or a news article without comment?
Bazbot insisted posting an article was a statement of opinion.
It isnât it was posting something others may not have seen
It shouldnât come to that.
People, including me and you and others, need to just stop for sec and ask why weâre about to post what weâre about to post.
What would shut all of them up is to do what I did yesterday with my tour group.
Took them to the reception area at the railway station
Then they undetood
OK, Iâve moved things out of the way, can we please try and be nice to each other otherwise I will take the unilateral decision to put this thread on pause for a while.
We all have different ideas of what is going on and what is not, we all get our stuff from different sources, we all think we are right.
As always the truth is somewhere in between so please a) Donât get personal in replies/responses b) be nice to each other c) discuss the Conflict in Ukraine.
Thank you
Thank you.
So you and and an utterly discredited propaganda mouthpiece for a morally bankrupt government say. As I said at the start Iâm quite prepared to believe that a war crime took place here (Iâve no doubt war crimes are happening on both sides) but that doesnât mean that people should live their lives without a little joke about the kind of shit you and the BBC churn out. I didnât commit a war crime, nothing is proven in any case, the people reporting the crime have a track record that opens them up to ridicule and I refuse to dance to the tune that you and the BBC want me to. If everyone took everything the BBC said seriously all the time there would be no time left for any joy in life. If youâve got a problem with people not taking the BBC seriously, please direct your ire towards the BBC. If youâve got a problem with me not taking you seriously then stop following the BBCâs example.
In any case it looks like this story was also run by CNN who showed a bit more of the video than the BBC did.
Hereâs an early debunking of the video.
So from that you donât believe it happened?
I think it makes a few points that would be worth examining further but to be honest Iâm not really interested. I hope that if a crime has been committed here, that the families of the victims get some kind of justice but why this crime deserves highlighting above any of the other many crimes which have occurred, I donât know.
If itâs true It also doesnât really say anything about the war in general. Unless you can show that these guys were ordered to do this, which I highly doubt, itâs an isolated incident of 2 horrible people doing something evil likely for greed.
If its false itâs not interesting because itâs just the BBC doing what they normally do.
when they take Mariupol or Kherson back wake me up.
Back to the lada motors and whatever fast food they had before, not long now before we see the Russians in leather jackets, mullets, white socks and dodgy trainers due to embargoes.
Not an opinion post.
Just something interesting
Its 1am Iâve had a turd of a day and a 6am start so no I havenât fact checked it, but if real, interesting
Fuck me, they use a lot of words to say very little
And she is a fanatic
He was good, Ukraine wonât lose as he said simply because they have to survive, itâs a battle to survive, once thatâs achieved (probably close to it know) itâll turn to pushing the Russians out of their country, I donât think theyâll go into Crimea though, this has set Russia back a generation and they also have to pay for it.
Itâs an interesting choice of words in most reports today, especially given that a few weeks ago, Zelenskiy was saying that these fighters would stay the course.
In that context, âevacuatedâ is a better word than âsurrenderedâ.
