If Putin decides to go into NATO heâll literally be signing his own death warrant.
Russia military appears to be that weak it wouldnât try, its been humiliated and forced to indiscriminately bomb civilian targets to force change, its failed massively.
NATO could dismantle Russiaâs airpower and navy very quickly but what then? Putin would go nuclear so no no one wants that.
Putin needs to be given a way of standing down and living under a stone, or hopefully an ice pick moment from within.
Yeah, I just wonder if NATO members have teeth when theyâre bombing the shite out of a non-nuclear armed foe with obsolete military equipment, but will lack them when confronted with this.
What NATO commanders might see as effective strategic encirclement is also a number of potential powder kegs waiting to go off, especially after seeing that Putin is willing to use his military.
This and its not good but that is Putinâs decision, I sincerely hope he doesnât do that.
NATO wouldnât back down as it would be worthless.
Neither outcome is good, and neither outcome would occur had NATO not got so many new members, with Russian minorities, right on Russiaâs doorstep.
Those members joined right away or as soon as they could, why?
They certainly donât yearn for the Soviet Union and theyâre happy in the west under the protection of NATO, the World changes, the British Empire has gone, so has the Soviet one.
Why do you think the Ukrainians are resisting so heavily?
There is your answer, and thereâll be an equal response in every nation Russia invades, they donât want Putin and they donât want Russia, only Belarus do and only because the civilian population has been brutally put down by Lukashenko.
The answer youâre looking for (you wonât like it nor will you probably accept it) is the level of Ukrainian resistance shows you how much they donât want Putin, nevermind NATO or the EU, they donât want Putin.
Putin may feel, with some justification, that NATO is a paper tiger.
It kind of looks like one now. Member have been pushing like fuck to get Ukraine into the club, but handily enough, theyâre not treaty-bound to put boots on the ground.
The US is one nation in NATO, whether it has or hasnât weâll never be privy to know but that doesnât bother me nor should it bother you, what is key is the decision making of whether theyâre allowed to join, they shouldnât be pushed aside as theyâre an apparent victim of geography.
