đŸ‡ș🇩 The War/Invasion in/of Ukraine

What has that got to do with its strategic military position?

If its got no money then how can it fund its army and expansionist policy? The only way it can do that is by exposing free trade, globalisation and using capitalism.
Low labour costs have given them this and few workers rights, with a rising middle class who’re western educated they’re in a difficult position.

Both Russia and China have been storing up their currency. Putin reportedly has a (literal) war chest of over 500 billion.

Not validating eithers system of government, but both countries can plan long term, under-taking initiatives that would be seen as multi-term in a democratic context.

Never start a post with an arrogant assumption bazbot.
You just lose everytime.
My response is go fvck you arrogant typing persona.

2 Nations will be irreparably harmed by the actions of Putin I want peace for them

We need a hell of a lot more help still.

There is a suggested that seized oligarch house could be used to house refugees

Hold up a sec - how about I make my house available and I go live in the ÂŁ170m kensington mansion

Pap, Putin doesn’t have anywhere near that and sanctions have taken care of where he can spend it.

China have vast amounts of foreign reserve but they’re bound by currency fluctuations, I guess there’re shit scared of inflation also.

Yes those systems have those advantages but their leaders are also bound by time and all are vain enough to want a legacy in their lifetime.

Russia for this war will become quite plainly China’s bitch, China won’t mind, will Russian pride mind?

I can only assume by the way you written it, you want Ukraine to surrender as it’ll make Poland safer, I understand, just admit it.
Ukraine has every right to determine their own future, they didn’t start an invasion, they didn’t bomb hospitals.

When did this war begin in your mind?

2008, the invasion of Georgia, this is ongoing.

Also have just heard Putin is allegedly shocked that they’ve bombed civilian areas and he didn’t instruct military to do that, bollocks but is this a standing down, they’ve got to pay debts on Wednesday and they have to pay in roubles which they may not be able to do, if Putin ever thought for a moment he could financially take on the west he was mistaken, I don’t think for a minute he didn’t know that, I think he has underestimated the Ukrainian resistance and the west’s response, this comes about when your circle gets smaller and smaller and you’re in an echo chamber.
So for me it started in 2008 when the west did nothing to Georgia, the warning signs were there and we did nothing, Russia has far bigger problems than the west and thats all fucked now, the stan nations are kicking off and China is already in eastern Russia and its influence is growing.
Putin is screwed, totally and utterly but that is what makes him dangerous.

Most of the world has that one ending and the result going to the Russians and the South Ossetians. Do you think the war is still going on?

China will likely be happy with a weakened Russia. It will see that as an opportunity to buy some influence there. I suspect the last thing China wants is to be dragged into political and military conflict. It would much rather gain influence with roubles after this has ended. If Russia have asked China for military assistance and been turned down it is no surprise that this runs in parallel with reports of constructive talks toward peace, coming out of Russia. Why would this mighty military machine want Chinese assistance for an invasion against a second rate army?

The fog of war has descended not only in Ukraine, but also in the media. Depending on who you listen to, the Russians are either getting totally fucked or have encircled the Ukrainians forces.

Western media say the Russians are encircling Kyiv and Ukraine, if they want to win they’re going to have to get boots on the ground and do they want that?

Indeed, Russia military is shite in respect of ground forces, poorly paid conscripts in the main.

Alright, lads?

That is the way to do it.

I saw that earlier and was wondering if the riot police would have intervened had it been a “normal” property that had been “squatted”.
