I think you actually need to see the context of that, Putin says he is surrounded? And that was one of the pretextâs for his invasion, no he is more surrounded on his western flank than ever before.
Context, of course he isnât surrounded in the whole sense of the word.
Canât you ever stop arguing just to try and prove youâre right?
You made a statement.
It was incorrect but you still keep trying to deflect from that.
Youâve seen an opportunity and youâve tried to grasp it, of course Putin isnât literally surrounded
Now youâre trying to laugh your way out of it and turn your fuck-up into a joke.
Joke is on you son.
Interesting question from the guys today
How many missiles hit Kiev since Jo got on the trainâŠ
I havenât a clue but the Russians are bombing the crap out the Lysychansk.
I did enjoy the way that the Guardian carried two competing stories on its front pages yesterday. They carried a story about the Russians leaving Snake Island and the Ukrainians claiming it was a win.
I suppose, in a way, that is actually balance.
I suppose it could be both - if your enemy makes a tactical withdrawal, it is usually in response to a set of conditions that you have created - you could claim that as a win I guess
What I read somewhere that the withdrawal was down in part to Ukraine taking delivery of a load of French artillery. Snake Island gave the Russians a great springboard for an amphibious assault on Odessa - the French artillery has somewhat knackered their chances of pulling that move off.
I suspect what forces that were on Snake Island are going to be redeployed to carry on with the mainland campaign.
The Russian propaganda says it is to facilitate grain exports, the Ukrainian propaganda claim a victory - they are both spouting bollocks in this case
Grain is in the calculus, just not for altruistic reasons. Itâs just so the Russians can claim âwe didnât block itâ when the inevitable starts to happen.
I had a bit of a
With the BBC report basically saying the Indonesian President was a post boy.
No mention of grain.
The guys had the actual presser on in the van last night
It went on a long time for a mail call, Vlad was quite close to Jo & some very different body language. Guys saying he was using positive terms.
But that doesnât fit the narrative I guess.
(No bazbot, it is not a peace treaty/surrender, itâs about stopping millions of people starving)
And, if this heatwave doesnât stop soon any grain being grown from Germany East & down to Slovakia will be dust.
Water cuts now across most of central Europe.
There is a lot of hypocrisy going about at the minute.
I think this is about it.
I havenât seen any enforced Ukrainian in Russia have you? Why should Ukraine cater for planted Russians, you sound like Rev Paisley.
Putin could stop people starving without a nations leader going to him and asking him to stop, he stole the grain and now wants to release it as he has bombed a shopping centre.
Pure PR.
News today is the US is going to send more ammo for the HIMARS, this is great news as apparently this is already doing some damage on the battlefield. UK is training lots of Ukrainians here on M270 guns, feel far more optimistic this week that hopefully thereâll be resolution to this invasion and conflict by the end of the year.
I see you refrained by mentioning Christmas, unlike those from WW1
Catering for people who speak different languages isnât a big ask amongst mature civilisations.
We cater for speakers of other languages.
Ukraine, a toddler in the international stage that put NATO and EU membership in its fucking consitution, is obviously not as confident.
In Law Pap in law, christ its still divisive now in Northern Ireland and Iâd say theyâre mature, Ukraine isnât mature Pap either is it, its being trying to pull away from Russiaâs sphere of influence for years.
Russia is the one who isnât confident, sure Russian can be spoken but Russian is a secondary language to Ukrainian, Russian speakers in Ukraine are Ukrainian not Russians living in Ukraine speaking Russian.
Ahem.
Besides Russian, there are other numerous languages which have been adopted as the official languages in Russia. These languages include; Ossetic, Ukrainian, Buryat, Kalmyk, Chechen, Ingush, Abaza, Adyghe, Cherkess, Kabardian, Altai, Bashkir, Chuvash, Crimean Tatar, Karachay-Balkar, Khakas, Nogai, Tatar, Tuvan, Yakut, Erzya, Komi, Hill Mari, Meadow Mari, Moksha, and Udmurt. These languages have thousands of native speakers who make up a significant percentage of the total Russian population. The Adyghe language, also known as West Circassian, is an example as it has more than 128,000 native speakers in Russia and is the official language in the Republic of Adygea, although there are also other speakers of the language in other countries. The Abaza language is another example, and has over 35,000 native speakers in Russia and is officially recognized as the official language in the Karachay-Cherkessia Constituency. In the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Bashkir language is used as the official language, and this language has 1.2 million speakers nationally. The Buryat language is the Buryat Republicâs official language and has over 265,000 native speakers all over the country. Chuvash language is the official language in the Chuvashia Republic, where it has about 1.1 million native speakers. Chechen language is one of the biggest languages besides Russian in the country, as it has over 1.4 million native speakers in Russia. The language is used as the official language of the Republic of Chechnya. Like many Russian languages, the Chechen language features Cyrillic and Latin alphabets in its written format. The Ossetian language is an Eastern Iranian language adopted as the North Ossetia- Alania region and its number of native speakers is estimated to be about 570,000 people around the country.
Ahem.
What is the official language of all Russia?
Russian is a recognised language in Ukraine isnât it? Its just not a state one and why should it be, Ukraineâs primary language for all of Ukraine should be Ukrainian. Then secondary ones.
Russian is the all encompassing language in Russia Pap.
A new nation has every right to assert itself in uniting under one language for all its citizens, theyâre Ukrainians after all.
