He’s a lot more surrounded than he was before with an awful lot more NATO on his border.

He wants grain for his nation, surely that’s on Putin? He’s supported Putin in this invasion so I don’t understand why Putin doesn’t give him some of the stolen grain?

I’m at a loss to why they would leave this very very important piece of land, the Ukrainians can now protect Odessa and other areas in and around the Black Sea, its tough to know what is happening but I don’t believe goodwill gesture at all as they trying to raze the east to the ground, I’m not sure of Ukrainian claims that they’ve done it, is this a rationalization of Putin’s invasion, now only the east and not the southern part of Ukraine?

Let it lie Barry.

No Baz.
Wrong again.
It is to open grain supplies to the world.
Some people are not as self focused as you.
He went to the G7 first to get their support.
It was not a photo OP like Bojo & the rest.
Hell the photos were only sent an hour ago

Why wouldn’t Putin do that of his own accord? I thought he wasn’t holding the grain for leverage and a possible land grab at others insistence?
I’d love to know what he proposed for Ukraine to back down? Maybe a surrender of their land so his people can eat? Meanwhile Putin wins?
That doesn’t sound fair to me or for that matter millions of Ukrainians.

Just stating the plainly obvious if thats his motive, he asked for less and got more.

Some brass neck this cunt Putin has.

Thanks Barry.

No-one knew that Putin had a brass neck, not even after the invasion of Ukraine.

Now that he has said these words, we know for sure.

I think the point I wanted to make was that you need to stop posting to try and deflect from the fact your OP on the topic was clearly not factually correct.

What wasn’t factually correct?

Phil has already pointed this out. Perhaps get one of your literate friends to read it out for you.

Pointed what out?

That is really is all about getting the grain out.

I’m not naĆÆve enough to think it’s altruistic. It’s clearly an effort in PR damage limitation and to put the blame on the Ukrainians if the grain doesn’t get out.

I loved the story about the island’s ā€œrecaptureā€. The conquest of an empty island. Inspirational.

So its correct what I said a while back, the seizure of grain by Russia was starving millions and this wasn’t Ukraine’s fault in anyway but Russias? They’re quite obviously using food as a weapon and as for Snake Island, I don’t know, why would they give up such an important piece of land?
Ukraine won’t stand in the way of any food getting out, they need the money and they wouldn’t do that, Putin however, the stolen grain will get out because he’s starving his mates voters.

Not really got any comment on that. Perhaps you’d like to provide a source.

I think the main issue now is de-mining the waters so that the grain gets out. Let’s see if they can manage it.

Comment on what, Indonesia has sided with Putin by abstaining in the UN vote, self interest and long term friends, lets see if Russia can find all their mines in the Black Sea?

And seeing as they blew up a shopping centre with civilians in it 3 days ago yes maybe.

This is what wasn’t factually correct Barry.

Read your own posts ffs.
