8 years ago the West helped Naziâs they had been cultivating for decades to incite a coup. Then when Russia reacted they sanctioned the fuck out of them and then spent 8 years supporting and training Nazis to carry out attrocities against the Russian speaking Ukrainian population in the East of the country. They hardly did nothing.

Disagree. Weâre perfectly happy to let other countries kick the shit out of each other for decades without intervening. The only difference between this and anything else is that the West has invested a lot of money in this. That investment is about to go kaput.
The West hasnât ignored this at all. Itâs a situation largely of its own making. It has been exacerbating things for the citizens of Ukraine for over a decade. Maidan took a lot of work.
Thereâs a poker term called âpot committedâ. Itâs when you put so much money on the table that you canât fold your hand, even though you suspect your cause is lost. That is where the West is now. Putin called their bluff.
And an awful lot of western companies set up operations in Ukraime in that time, from IT support across all sectors.
