This is stuff that any forum poster knows after his or her first serious case of pushback without being sure on what theyâve written.
Why doesnât Ritter realise this?
Or Barry for that matter?

1)Right at the start Russia was built upon territorial expansion.
That is happening now.
That will happen,
You still have avoided those 2 questions?
4th occasion Herr Schlong.
Donât presume anything Pap, also you havenât answered the question I gave you above about how Russia came into being? You disagreeing with Ukraine in 2014 would make you a hypocrite if you agree with 1917.
Iâve known you and your posting style for almost a decade now, Bazza.
I can presume.
Indeed, you think you know me Pap, probably more than you actually do but that is ok youâre not a bad sort, how did Russia as we know it come about Pap?
Empire.
Who are we celebrating this weekend?
Obviously this wonât be to the taste of our more hang âem and flog âem and kill all the damn Ruskies posters, but worth a read.
It suggests that itâs not all sweetness and light amongst those who support Ukraine.
Personally, I suspect that unless the West does something incredibly stupid and escalate things itâll all end around the negotiating table with territory being ceded. ( My opinion based on no âfactsâ whatsoever)
Pap, Russia came about because of revolution.
It was always going to be this way as far as Europe is concerned (one of the reasons I voted to leave the EU), national interest supersedes the European interest and those Governments most affected (their perception) will backslide the first, the most important thing is is the US, Poland and the UK arenât backing out, the Italians, Germans and French will do what they always do and look after themselves.
I think the Germans may be shamed into helping more as the population is pretty much unanimous in wanting to help Ukraine, the other two not so sure.
Pretty sure it was there before.
Not as we know it it didnât, do you recognise Russia as legitimate?
Stop using intelligence on this thread, itâs wasted
In a similar vein, this opinion piece rather goes against the narrative we are all being fed regarding Western sanctions, with the West suffering from them, shooting themselves in the foot and Russiaâs economy being boosted. Of course this could all be defeatist nonsense and the author of the piece hates the West and is desperate to fellate Putin, Iâm sure somebody will be along shortly to put us all straight.
Compromise means Ukraine losing, that isnât for us to decide.
So why the incessant posting as a geopolitical / strategic warfare expert when ultimately anything you post isnât going to change the outcome one iota - perhaps you find it cathartic?
Me and you breathing isnât going to change the ultimate demise of planet earth but here we are baby.
This bit is hilarious.
Sanctions were imposed on Vladimir Putin not because they were considered the best option, but because they were better than the other two available courses of action: doing nothing or getting involved militarily.
Anyone with any wisdom will know that sometimes, doing nothing is the best course of action. You see how things shake out, then get your oar in when it actually makes a difference.
The world economy is fucked because the West had to do something. Good job, The West.
Yeah thatâs sound NevâŠ
If only Nev had waited until 1942.
As long as youâre alright Nev, millions more would have been consigned to death but as long as youâre ok.
