Crumbs.
Stupidity right there if true.
For the love of anything, a striker is best as a striker? Though it’s pre-season, gotta try something different. I guess. I hope
For the love of god sign a premier league striker or we are going to struggle.
Would we take someone like a Pukki on loan? Obvs wouldn’t buy but a loan for him might fill a hole up top?
Not got a good record in PL tbh
It’s official, Ralph has completely lost the plot.
“For Ori as a number six it is always a little bit difficult because he is not so much a holding midfielder, he likes to go everywhere,” Hasenhuttl explained.
“This is the reason why I like to bring him more upfront, I know that he is not the quickest one in this position but he knows how to score goals from this area.
“I think we tried it and it worked quite well.”
I read this several hours ago, and being somewhat stunned, just thought about it through the afternoon.
This, and other statements he has made, have taken away the last vestiges of belief I had in Ralph.
He is not someone who has had a couple of runs of bad luck, I now think he is someone who has had a couple of runs of extreme good fortune, and a bunch of players who have probably bust a gut for him over short periods, and then eventually given up in frustration.
The way things are going, I can’t really see him lasting past September, but if he does, I think Saints will be heading towards relegation.
Why buy Adam Armstrong, and then not play to his strengths? AA is not a waste of money, but Ralph has wasted £15M of talent.
Djenepo playing wing back? S Armstrong playing in the forward 3?
I really hope I have misunderstood what he is up to.
I heard that we’re in for this nippy little forward…
Available on a free from Sheffield Hensday. Or possibly Layton Orient.
What’s with all this brushing shoulder and shhhing bullshit
Great! We now have someone to play right wing back, or centre midfield behind the other 5.
Apologies for any leanings to sarcasm.
Now that Romeu is the second coming of Le Tiss, this lad can sit in front of the back 4.
Southampton have made a late move to try to sign Manchester City’s 19-year-old English winger Sam Edozie, who was expected to join Bayer Leverkusen.
An epic fail fail
I shit myself for a minute and thought we had resigned him
