Obligatory YouTube for last season - seems to have good link up play and gets fouled a lot

Reports link Leeds and Newcastle too. Here is more on the fella

All in all, with all things considered, this window has been a breath of fresh air! No real ‘I wanna cry’, ‘why did you sell him’ sales. Yes, still we all think there are options out there that if they came off would make Houdini proud but hand on heart, we are doing way better than under previous ownership(s).

Now, if we could do something about the mentality of our supporter base from being Henny Penny’s to being somewhere closer to a positive one (even just on occasions), we’d win the league!

:scream:

They didn’t mistake him for another player by any chance?

Many would probably have kept him ahead of some of the other ‘meh’ we have in the 10 position. Hopefully signalling the fact that we are still going to improve that area before the window shuts.

Seems odd, him being one of the really positive sparks in the friendly against Ralph’s son’s lot. Unless that was a shop window.

I agree. But on balance I don’t think he’d start regularly for us so provided he does for Stoke, I’m onboard with it.

The Redmond and Walcott situation (not going to Austria and staying at home to “work on building their fitness” despite no mention of injury) is odd but you have to assume they’ll be leaving before the window closes. Then there’s Djenepo…

Surely we are looking at another (hopefully better) number 10.

Funny if true

I suspect it’s bollox because it looks almost identical to one I read a few years back when Utd signed Fred.

The Fred one sounded so plausible though. He really is an absolute liability.
