Yes I know this, you need 1litre of vodka to 4 eggs, carefully separate the egg whites and the yolk, put the whites and yolk in the bin and pour vodka into a serving jug or just put a big straw in the bottle, et voila!

Be careful what you wish for…

I’m actually OK with that.

Because we will always be able to say ā€œYeah right, it wasn’t a REAL Titleā€

Look on the bright side. You’re not any worse off.

You’ve got bonus meats as well!

Pinchitos?

They go beautifully in a pasta sauce, with chicken :yum:

Mini cooking chorizo

Above the size of a small plum

That’s the fellas. They call them pinchitos in the spanish markets, but they’re small raw chorizo. Lovely stuff.

Worth storing the fat as well. Cooks other things up nice.

Got one of these last year…have to say, you won’t hardly get through any of it, that was my experience.

It got to the point where if anyone came over they had to agree to have some jamon before I allowed them a drink…

Just applied for a home testing kit.

Been ā€œillā€ all week and was sent home from work on Monday afternoon, although without any of the ā€˜classic’ symptoms of COVID-19.

I’ve had headaches, muscle/joint aches, tiredness, difficulty focusing but no cough and no fever. I’d say I feel rough - like a really bad hangover rather than being properly unwell.

But yesterday morning my sense of smell and taste was dramatically reduced and I felt really rough. Toothpaste was weird - could sense the menthol in my nose but the taste wasn’t there. Same with the vinegar from pickled beetroot it was more ā€œpainā€ in the nose than taste. Odd feeling.

Anyway, taste returned in the evening to near-normal levels and I started to feel a bit more with-it - as I do this morning.

I discussed this with my boss and she told me to get tested as I can’t really return to work until I know for sure. She’s right.

I’m not convinced that I have/have had it, but I guess I need to know for sure.

I’ll keep you posted.

Sounds very similar to the cases we’ve got in the close-fam, bletch.

She was making curry and just kept on spooning chili powder into it because she was unable to taste it. That was about nine days ago now.

Good luck, mush.

I’m feeling a little meat envious. I’ve also got six people to feed. Where did you procure this processed meat bounty?

I, too, would like to know this…
