Black Adam is not shit.
Which is a surprise as it started out looking like it would be.
It is watchable but why do DC movies not seem so real as Marvel? Is it the lighting? Adam seems very orange in tone.
The Rock is almost wasted but eventually comes into his own, The Justice Society seem way too MAGA for much of the film, only Pierce Brosnan really fits into his role well
What the film does well is to explore a different slant to Superhero and after the closing credits scene that could be a good thing in the DC Universe
Glad I watched it, glad I didn’t waste money going to the cinema to see it

I have a soft spot for enjoyably stupid/daft and it is that in spades
The Peripheral continues to add layers.
It really is clever yet stays “low key” almost slow.
Ep 6 & 7 introduce us to the Police Inspector. Who is, possibly one of the THE great TV characters. So powerful. The Actress Alexander Billings is Transgender brings protrayal of that character so far past the realms of wokeness as to be unreal, and on top of that is creating almost an Agatha Christie character in a complex Sci-Fi story.

Complex strands & layers have come in (an IRA assasain? Drug Dealer and Robots) and yet it remains easy AND impossible to follow. Is it a more Cerebral Matrix now or something far far more complex?
