Elizabeth Olsen tipped the scales for me :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Just going to plonk this here.

Watching Black Widow. Not feeling connected to it at all despite Scarlett, Rachel & Olga being in it.

I also assume David Harbour got the role as he was already locked up in a So iet Gukag and didnt need to change

I still haven’t gotten around to watching it yet. I’m sure it’ll be competent enough fayre, just as I’m sure it would have blown me away if I hadn’t seen tons of other Marvel movies, including the one the character died in.

Of course it seems that death is no longer the complete end for a character, what with multiverses and all that. Thing is, Scarlett Johansson burned a few bridges with Disney by opening legal proceedings about this very film.

Tbh. Every Marvel fan should have brought suits against

Thing is even the “big finish” was simply an extension of a “big finish” in another movie.

Currently watching The Green Knight.
It is “odd”, “off” even. Not weird, just “off”. Getting past that it is

In an “off” way

Oh yes.
I am The Watcher.

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

What If?

This is proper Marvel. 30 min episodes of What If.
Exploring a choice that may have been made different to the movie which creates an alternate Universe.

It’s no doubt setting the scenes for Multiverse Phase 4 but Ep 1 is a story we all know, with most the characters but different.

Is it wrong to fancy a cartoon character? Asking for a friend

@Polski_Filip takes tentative steps towards Hentai.

Peggy Carter was smoking hot in the films.
Her Cartoon Captain is different level

Oh.
Ep 2.

Oh dear

When you have a “cartoon” episode of What If
?
With THIS cast

Again, like Lower Decks, very clever TV

Stargate SG-1 was a much loved show that featured people running around Canadian forests.
It was good if offbeat SciFi and Jack O’Neill was played with a level of disbelief and humour.
Atlantis kept that vibe going and used less forests, but was enjoyable.
Then came Stargate Universe, right around the Battlestar Galactica reboot.
So the showrunners went all dark and serious and drama and heavy characters.
And fvcked it up.
They had s great storyline. Alien planet, an attack and dialling up "the 12th chevron put the survivors on a million year old Ancients spaceship.
The problem was S1 was about Robert Carlyle being a cock and domestic issues on Earth. Wrong. Even outside that shit were good stories simply too few.
S2 suffered an equally slow start which was a crying shame as once we discover the true mission of the ship it becomes proper SciFi.
Fact is, showrunners were arrogant and believed they had 4 or 5 years. They didn’t.
I enjoyed it but was frustrated by it.
The story should be told. It won’t be.

I am glad I watched it though, maybe the mooted reboot will pick up on the strands. I hope so.

It reminded me of Enterprise another great story ruined by showrunners making it about The Temporal Wars, not the Romulan War.

Doh.
Just took an idiot pill.
Am now (in between a full week of work coming up) bingeing Babylon 5
3 episodes in and hooked on it already despite the wooden acting & sets

I do hope you’re watching the recent remaster. It’s not widescreen.

Certainly seems to be better than the old VHS recordings we made overnight back in the sandpit.

Plus I don’t believe my supplier would provide anything less than top quality

Amazing watching the cast slowly grow into it. 1st couple of episodes Garibaldi would have been played better by a biscuit

Dune on the rounds, Marvel in full flow.
Foundation coming soon and this

I do like Sam Neill, has a good pedigree as well

This Friday I believe, I’m sure your provider will be able to get it
I do hope they do the books some justice

Omen III > Omen II.

Largely because of Sam Neill.
