Not really. It was a well established fantasy trope by then, so itās less Jacksonās invention and more Jackson following convention.

I won a pint I bet myself as Wandavision picked up the pace this week.
Iām sure geeks will love the whole Sword thing coming to MCU but for me it just helped with time lining the show.
It remains encouraging from a story arc perspective and entertaining.

Itās an adaptation which is already asking a serious amount of its prospective film audience. Pointy ears are simply visual short-cuts for audiences who already expect pointy ears on elves.
The whole point is to tell the audience āhey! thatās an elf!ā
Please donāt tell me you made a scene in the cinema by saying āthat is NOT an elf!ā 
Hawaii 5-0 the Kurtzmann version is on telly here before the local news so we catch it most days.

I did not. I thought the films were excellent.
However I see way too many writers describing their elves as having pointed ears because of the films

I have been watching Attack on Titan season 4. I love how awesome the ODM gear is and just the sheer imagination of the series. Season 4 is mainly set in a ghetto except instead of Jews they have people who are genetically predisposed to control titans.
Is the English language version out yet, my sonās been watching it but hasnāt got the patience for subtitles
I think its quite recently been released dubbed on funimation but you need to pay a subscription for that. I guess illegal streams ripped from funimation will be out soon if theyāre not already. Iāve been watching subtitled on you tube.

Internet nightmare today. So stuck with Polish TV who seem to be having an 80/90ās week.
Even with the bloke reading the script, itās great watching Escape from New York.

So The Expanse, season five is complete, and Iām not sure what comes next. Itās a really dense episode, and probably not served well by it.
In a case of real life perverting fiction. Alex dies.
He doesnāt die in the books, and goes on to be instrumental in many of the big initiatives. Itās because the actor who play him has been a fucking naughty bot in the #MeToo stylee
Itās really an episode of two halves. It could really have benefited from being two episodes, but episode ten is episode ten.
I think theyāre going to do the last three books in the next season.
