It’s not just about who goes to United. If he goes, the players are going to be wondering exactly the same thing as the fans. Can someone else achieve the same with this team as he did? Many of our players thought not, even when Koeman was revealed as the new manager.
Spurs will be able to attract a top replacement, no doubt. A top top replacement, as Alex Ferguson might say, is a lot more difficult.
The 'Cocks, are saying on their board that if the whoremeister general does leg it for another bucket load of judas gold, then the ideal replacement would be our Ron.
Now I know this is improbable, however I would be just a teeny bit tetchy if they somehow pulled that off

There are a lot of people looking at Ron at the moment. I have also heard his name come up in conjunction with the Everton job, although not many pundits reckon he’ll take it without the promise of huge investment (actually a possibility next year).
I’m not silly enough to think he’ll never leave us, but I do think he’ll see out his contract and having made the fuss he did over Morgan, couldn’t see him going to Spurs when there are probably going to be better offers for him in a year’s time.
I know he might go, and FWIW if he has seen out his contract then fair dinkum, but please, for the love of fuck, not Spurs. Any where but Spurs (or Liverpool or Pompey)
Poch isn’t going anywhere.
He has a gentleman’s agreement to carry on at Spurs.
The likelihood of him breaking that is as slim as the ridiculous idea of Toby not honouring his agreement with us.

martinez is a bit Hard Done By imo. I dunno why Everton bros are so angar, I think they’re believing the Hype about Barkley & Stones, who both might be gd players someday, but at the moment are both Pretty Shit. Everton being 12th is about Par, for club like Everton.

Martinez looks to be on the way out, with Toffee’s fans looking to protest further in the final game of the season, and also at the Club’s awards ceremony.
Everton are reportedly looking to Frank de Boer to replace Martinez, after the Ajax boss resigned today - stating that he is “ready for something else” – which is convenient timing for Bill Kenwright, you might say.
Definitely need Ron to extend that contract even more so now, as De Boer was widely reckoned to be top of our shortlist if Ron did leave next year.
Our Nigel has been slashed by The Blades after failing to reach the play offs – with Northampton boss Chris Wilder expected to take up the position.
That is a strange situation. It must be difficult to leave a club you’ve just got promoted as Champions for one in the same division, even if it is a much bigger club. But Sheff Utd being Wilder’s hometown Club, this one is more understandable.
Next up for the axe will hopefully be Paul Cook, after P*mpey’s (fingers crossed) soon to be catastrophic exit from the play offs at the hands of Plymouth, the first leg ‘kicking off’ at Nottarf Krap-pipes tonight. Should be worth a listen in on Solent.
