šŸ“° The most exciting thing to happen in Salisbury since Stonehenge was created

Is this a pro Russian site? Lets see what the survivours say tin foilers? Can we talk about Russia invasion of Crimea or theirdeliberate unsettling of the Donbass? Other state killings in old satellites? Why has the rouble crashed?

You constantly confuse me Barry, a self proclaimed socialist, that comes across more CofE, mail reading(and believing), adherent of warmongering neoliberalism.

Except when it comes to Southampton, the place or team. Then your a Puritan.

Puritinism:

Puritanism is the haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.

Seriously Barry Iā€™m starting to think you are like the average WW1 volunteer who blindly signed up because their ā€œbettersā€ effectively told them it was their patriotic duty. They blindly signed up and died (on both sides)

At least some people are questioning the motives of our government and the West in general.

If it goes to conflict will you be queuing at the recruitment station to sign up and do your bit for Blighty?

There are a number of things that bother me about this. For a start the Russians have plenty of previous with this type of operation. If this was a British intelligence operation in order to discredited the Russians, it is the most inept ever. I donā€™t think they are that stupid. The assumption that Putin and his cronies are suddenly the good guys and are being ā€˜fitted upā€™ stretches credibility more than our own people poisoning an ex Russian spy with either chemical weapons or dodgy shellfish.

Really, thereā€™s evidence, or made up stuff like Litvinenko?

If this was a British intelligence operation in order to discredited the Russians, it is the most inept ever. I donā€™t think they are that stupid.

Why do you think our murderers are so superior to Russian murderers? Above you say they have had loads of practice.

The assumption that Putin and his cronies are suddenly the good guys and are being ā€˜fitted upā€™ stretches credibility more than our own people poisoning an ex Russian spy with either chemical weapons or dodgy shellfish.

Whoā€™s calling Putin a good guy? We have a long history of these type of games. Guess what you could take as an antidote for shellfish poisoning. Yeap, a nerve agent. How is that woman doctor that was a first responder and spent half an hour with them, getting covered in bodily fluid doing? Anyone heard of her since. Remember the consultant from Salisbury hospital stating in a letter to the Times that Salisbury hospital has never admitted anyone with nerve agent poisoning, but did admit 3 people with poisoning(maybe food).

There are lots of unanswered questions and our government make themselves look more guilty every time they open their mouths. Could still be Putin, but unlikely. It ties in with Syria i think.

Hush hush but I have spoken to 2 people itk. Both said the whole thing is dodgy as fuck.

The Matrix has you.

Maybe. But what is the difference between immediately believing that our own Governement are lying to us or an overseas Government are lying to us?

My bad. The Russians really are the good guys.

The differences are obvious and myriad.

First, lying leaders of foreign countries do not govern us. Our leaders do.

Second, we arenā€™t taxed for the lies of foreign governments. We paid money for Iraq, money for Libya, money for all the problems that has created.

Third, we are not stained with things done ā€œin our nameā€ by the things other governments do.

Finally, and Iā€™m sure I am not alone in thinking that this extremely dangerous course has been plotted for factional and political advantage, with potentially catastrophic results.

How dare a government lie to its people on something as important as this?

Syria and Salisbury. MI5 have been busy. They must have bought a job lot. :lou_eyes_to_sky:

Nah, MI5 is internal only, init.

As for Syria, it has been perhaps the most tragic example of ā€œget a man inā€, be it the headchoppers or the private military contractors.

Disappointing lack of any answers Soggy. Iā€™m only asking questions our press seem unwilling to ask(to the point of deceit). This site is all about Discourse isnā€™t it?

Again, as i said above, no claim of any good from Russian or otherwise. Quite a lot of bad going on though and it doesnā€™t stop. Ever.

Try starting by looking at all of them as bad, until proven otherwise. Itā€™s safer.

The single greatest failing of modern optics are rent a quotes or spin doctors.

Nobody seems to take a knee before commenting.

Salisbury most likely was Russia.

Instant tweets and mouth opening has turned it into a clusterfuck led to so many opportunities for Russia to score open goals.

This site is not pro-Russia. It is anti-idiots on all sides

Thatā€™s the thing. I donā€™t have any answers because I like everyone else not involved with military intelligence has not been privy to what is going on behind the scenes. Why assume the worst? Why assume anything? Surely it is better to keep an open mind rather than jumping to conclusions? Yes I accept that I have jumped to a conclusion about the proberbility that this was a Russian attack but I am happy to be proven wrong. Given the ongoing actions of Putinā€™s Russian I donā€™t think I am though. I will say again, if this was a set up job done to discredit Putin, operationally it was a poor effort. If a regime goes to the lengths of using social media to influence elections they arenā€™t going to worry about taking out some of their own. . My assumption but probably shared by a great many who are also not privy to the full operational debrief. Yes Boris is a buffoon and doesnā€™t come across as credible in most things he says. It doesnā€™t mean that the Russians werenā€™t behind this attack though.

My question is why would we set this up ourselves? Putin does and has done plenty to discredit his regime so why would we attack two people quietly going about their lives?

Do you need military intelligence to answer ā€œwhoā€™s calling Putin a good guyā€?

Why assume the worst?

Lessons of history.

Why assume anything?

They love people like that.

Surely it is better to keep an open mind rather than jumping to conclusions? Yes I accept that I have jumped to a conclusion about the proberbility that this was a Russian attack but I am happy to be proven wrong.

Yes it is. Try it.

Given the ongoing actions of Putinā€™s Russian I donā€™t think I am though.

Massive bias without evidence. Open mind remember.

What proven actions are you talking about. Before you answer compare what you know about Russia with this countryā€™s actions.

I will say again, if this was a set up job done to discredit Putin, operationally it was a poor effort.

As iā€™ve asked before, if Russia have committed so many crimes, why do you believe they would be more negligent than our lot?

Some info on our lot.

If a regime goes to the lengths of using social media to influence elections they arenā€™t going to worry about taking out some of their own. . My assumption but probably shared by a great many who are also not privy to the full operational debrief.

Which country has been involved lots of scandals in multiple countries over many years, for doing just that?

Clue on your passport if your not sure.

Yes Boris is a buffoon and doesnā€™t come across as credible in most things he says. It doesnā€™t mean that the Russians werenā€™t behind this attack though.

Al Pfeffel is just a gormless puppet and a proven liar, but that doesnā€™t mean Russia are guilty either. Why side with such a person, when heā€™s already been shown to lie about this?

You have absolute proof of this?

Wow. Just wow.
