Didn’t pay a lot of attention to the fishing as didn’t get here till early evening. It has been quiet though. Can you express a finger or two down(toes will do)?

Night fishing in Kent, that takes me back to when i was about 14 or 15, on the Stour just outside Canterbury. I remember the time we persuaded a couple of local lasses to join us, changed my life for ever. The discovery that snogging and a game of stinky finger knocked fishing into a cocked hat! Aah, what memories!

Yes, similar memories but around lakes. Hearing the line being stripped off the real became a “so what, i’m busy” rather than your whole purpose. Fun times😊
Never fished the Stour but there are some good Barbel to be had around Canterbury.
A fried bacon with tomato sandwich,brown bread salted butter and Colmans English mustard.

Tore one of my poppadom rotator cuffs falling off a bike at Calshot.
Great fun right up until the point I needed 4 months of physio and rehab.
