😃 The Little Pleasures of Everyday Life

Had a session there a couple of years back. Loved it. Sort yourself a fixed-wheel road bike - unless you do a lot of riding on steep hills it’s a great way to get about.

I love my road bike too much to switch

Have both! :lou_sunglasses:

Being asked to help an old mate from the sandpit with a new project.
Turns out he bought a Vinyard in Georgia…
Hes creating all the marketing bumf & sending samples in November.
Damn. Must have been 7 years this June I walked under that ladder/broke a mirror then.
Yes I will need UK agents.
No, not sending MY samples

You had me interested, until the last sentence.
Second to last, if i’m honest.
Oh well, no free wine :pensive:

Does that still count when i’m selling the love for wine?
Wonder if my wine clubs would be open to the offer?
A new business venture might sprout up if i can just get the stuff through Dover before it’s past its best

Life works in mysterious ways.
Lovely trip yesterday 2 American clients & local tour guide. Really good bantz and a very nice ā€œhandshakeā€ at the end.
This morning I fvcked up and arrived 1 hour too early for a new group + guide. I swear, park up, phone rings.
Lady from yesterday had left her passport in the back of the Van. Luckily I was only 10 minutes away, zoom round the town and drop it off (had fallen down back of her seat).
I get a hug and another lucrative hand shake.
Ah so basically a weeks wages in those handshakes.
I’m getting to like Americans.
Oh, and today’s group? Woo hoo! More Americans!

Saw two different red kites wheeling around in the air within a few miles of my house yesterday. Wonderful to see that the project to re-introduce these magnificent birds after they’d been persecuted to the point of extinction a few decades ago has gone so well.

A day off tomorrow. Been crazy busy 9 days.

The Brexit Thread. Has earned me a months wages in a week from tips from Americans. How? you ask.
That thread captures the polarised debate so as an ex pat it is actually a good source of opinion and emotions on both sides.
It means as I am now a Brexit Refugee I can give the Yanks a balanced non MSM POV
You wont be surprised that their news media hasnt explained strengths & weaknesses of the EU project or how it has been interpreted/misinterpreted.
It really is amazing to now be one of those profiting from Brexit :sunglasses::wink::beer:

Now send them a polite letter saying you don’t think the renumeration was enough and would like some more and see what they do.
I expect you to get another little windfall.

@CB-Saint will get it in a flash, and may wish to provide both solution and explanation. :lou_lol:
