After my local Dr’s surgery stopped doing syringing I looked for an alternative, there is a clinic in town that does ear suction for £80 an ear or something so I fucked off that option right away, instead buying an ear cam and syringe kit for about £20 - best money I ever spent as you get to check inside your ears after to see the results and a nice clear ear drum 
Edit: The camera comes with some proper dodgy attachments for scooping out the goop, but don’t bother as you’ll easily poke right through your ear drum if you’re not careful.

Kind of. It has a variable intensity led light so good for dark places, and is only about 5mm in diameter (I am sure you could get a thicker one if you really wanted) for easy access. It is very rigid though so getting round the corner to check the prostate might be tricky*.
