😃 The Little Pleasures of Everyday Life

Currently wresting with trying to replace a blade on a knife sharpening steel (diamonds have worn out)

A new one is £180 and a replacement blade is £50 so I am motivated - I have the blade out and now I have to get all the plastic out of the middle of the handle, which is proving to be a bastard

Oh youtube actually failed me - no bugger has bothered filming this (probably because once they have done it once, they never want to try it again)

They could claim it as an honest typo, which should have read “shit”. That would be incontestable in court.

Yep, just say you used Phils’ Spellchecker

Damn, I heard it is impossible to fly through Bangkok without getting off loaded for at least 3 days

(can you believe I actually got paid $400 plus free accomodation in Sheraton Sukhumvit full board for 2 days on an overbooked flight once)

It was a shit result and we utterly robbed by the ref and VAR, but I had great pleasure in going to a game with both my daughters (who’ve never seen Saints lose before) and the rest of the day - pubs, curry. and lots of conversation were great.
