Here’s a picture of me and me mates out on the raz back in 1924. Jimmy (front row 15th from the left) was getting married so we went on the usual pub-crawl around town. Started out at the “Cap & Hat Wearers Club” in Queens Terrace and moved on to the “Mash & Mangle” in East Street and then on to Marlands Park where we had a late night Frisbee throwing competition. A jolly time was had by all. :lou_lol:

I was aware of the implication but 4 Spitfires are a beautiful sight, the Lanc is a lot of things but beautiful it ain’t.
Plus a Spitfire is a pure Sotonian.

Running to the tooth maker yesterday meant I could get my bridge refitted today.
2 Dentist appointments in 2 days at zero hours notice.
Total cost?
Zero.
Warranty work.
Amazing.

I must admit, though, that the Typhoon is my second favourite aircraft that I’ve seen at the airshow.



The first being the Vulcan, shame they don’t fly anymore.
