Going brambling today, and returning home with 4lbs of blackberries and 4lbs of crab apples.
Loads of home made bramble and crab apple jelly going into my secret store soon - and there is still 3lbs of home grown rhubarb for rhubarb and ginger jam.
There will probably be some plum jam from bought plums yet to come, so my jam requirements will be sorted for the foreseeable future!

Well, if I told you, it wouldn’t be a secret store, would it.
I have to hide it away, or young adult 1 eats it, and Mrs TB has a tendency to give it away!

We signed a contract with an inbound Tour Company recently.
All their clients are Murican & stay in our 5* hotels.
3rd group in a week who told me I’m the best guide they’ve had on their They Cay Shun. And today what a joy to talk shit about the direction of the world as it lurches to the right. And my usual stuff.

I try so hard to teach the boss/mate to stop being Polish & how to tell stories not repeat facts on trips with them.
Today he was really happy he got a 50 Zloty tip from some Yanks. £8.50
I then told him my last 3 trips this week so far got over $100. PER TRIP!

Busy & long day today. Muricans 1st up, and the tip rate is maintained.
2 hours to kill b4 a Corporate client followed by more Muricans
So I got brave.
I went to a Polish Transport Cafe, all trucks & taxis.
Went for Kotlet Schwaoby & chips. Came with 4 different salads 1I only found after eating half the pig.
28PLN
About £5.50.
Bloody cost of living…
And yes I left half of it, I’m stuffed!
