We took some friends to the Concorde last night, they’d come down from Gloucester way en route to Brighton and stayed over. My mate was fuming, he’d just got his Rolex back from a jeweller in Cheltenham who had spent three months servicing it. He says it’s run without a hitch for the thirty-odd years he’s owned it, but felt it ought to be serviced properly by a Rolex specialist. He picked it up Wednesday afternoon and parted with £1600 for the overhaul, and by the time he got to Eastleigh yesterday afternoon the fucking thing had stopped and wouldn’t go again. I don’t envy the staff when he goes back to the jewellers next week.

We went rusk free a while ago. No going back.
Caveat: except breakfast at hotels when on very business… gotta do the dirty full English/Scottish/ Irish. It’s paid for innit.
