Make of that what you will.

Mrs TB has started an eating “regime” where she cannot eat fruit.
Sadly, just as all the strawberries and raspberries are coming into fruit, I am having to help her out by eating all of them as I pick them.
What sacrifices I make!

Sounds good. Had patatas bravas for lunch today and were excellent. Great to be back by the Med where fruit and veg actually taste of something.

@Fowllyd did you cook they on the paper?

I did indeed. I keep thinking that the heat on the pizza stone should be enough to make the paper unnecessary, but I’ve always used it as the vids I’ve seen all show it being done that way. I have to say that the pizza itself slides on and off the stone quite beautifully.

I have made a solemn request of my ever-loving wife, as follows: should I ever be heard to suggest that pineapple on a pizza is acceptable in any way, shape or form, she should contact Dignitas on my behalf as soon as possible.

Neither is the Circle Line, nor indeed the North and South Circular roads. Circularity is overrated.

Getting a call as I’m pouring my 2nd vodka to go work for “The Man” well, the UN, at stupid o’clock tomorrow.
Hey said I, it’s the wife’s day off, Bank Holiday, so only for stupid money.
So yeah. 4am alarm it is then :star_struck:

If it’s any consolation, I had to be on board the Celebrity Silhouette for 6am on Saturday. Four hours of slog, then straight on to the Sky Princess on the next berth. I was dropping by the time I crawled home. Got to do it all over again on the 25th.

Off to the border lands

Today has turned out to be potentially fascinating.
Story to follow no doubt.

  1. Regular readers may recall I found a superb bottled Ale on sale here. Sadly it was brewed in Russia & got banned.
Today lead driver suggests rendezvous at a petrol station just off the motorway. I roll in before him so go to the loo.
On my return I spot a display of said banned beer.
Quick calculation I can get 2 hidden in my day bag & buy them

  1. I am on standby to repeat the trip on Saturday. I have a bigger bag
