Having to schlep up to the office in London to meet suppliers - but knocking off at midday to be taken for long lunch :+1:

Cardingmill Valley in Church Stretton, Shropshire. Part of the Long Mynd hills.

Black pudding just fried with a bit of french bread

Polish Deli. (or even Tescos in Salisbury!)
Kasanka. Blood Sausage

Can be grilled or I like to remove skin cut in half then fry and squish it down in the pan to make like a thin “Black Pudding Crisp”
Softer than English Black Pudding still the same great taste

HP Sauce OR Heinz Jalapeno Tomato Ketchup the perfect accompaniment

So - what we need here is a cafe, large car park, ice cream van, loads and loads of day trippers coming in coaches - hang on, I wouldn’t want to there then.
Leets keep the location a bit secret, or it will get spoiled!
Lovely place.

This is the touristy valley in the Long Mynd. There is a car park and cafe, well managed as it’s National Trust. But the other valleys, or hollows as they’re known, are deserted and beautiful. The climbs over the top are great too.

Leisurely lunch. Now moving on to The Ned - away from the great unwashed (& a stone’s throw from The Drain for Waterloo).

Going into HMV last week and finding them selling record players! Made by Crossley, I think.
All in a neat little case that easily gets put away and back out again.
First public use was a Ronnie Scott album recorded before Mrs TB was born.
Is mono, but Will work through a blue tooth speaker, but most of the 100 plus vinyls I possess are mono anyway, and the reproduction is good enough for me, and there’s a limit to how much you can improve very old recordings.

Keep up grandad. All the yoot have them these days

YoungAdult#2 got one and has nicked most of mine and Mrs C_S records - he’s passing them off as him having classic taste in vintage music….

Clearing my old mans house and a lot of vinyl here Jim Reeves, Val (you know who I mean) Top of the Pops from the 70’s
Possibly worth a fortune yours for 50 quid. You collect / pay postage
