I’ve a couple of their smaller knives but have relied on Taylor’s Eye Witness knives for the bigger jobs. They’re getting a bit long in the tooth though.

This one looks a bad boy and the balance is unbelievable - looking forward to playing with it when sober.

Fifteen years into my set - anytime they get a little dull, a couple of turns on the diamond sharpener that global does brings them straight back

I get so arsey about blunt knives now that we have a self catering set (not global ) to take on holiday

Night out in Winchester this evening. few drinks in the Bakers/Royal Oak then a lush meal at Kyoto Kitchen and a few more in the Albion,

Bread maker update!
The Panasonic (quite expensive) works well - it looks like bread, and it tastes like bread! Strange I know, but with the last one (returned after two days) nothing looked or tasted like bread!
My advice - don’t buy a cheap bread maker with a viewing window - imo it affects the cooking of the top!

Amongst the crazy amount of stuff to do today (only “day off” until January) I needed to get my hair cut.

My usual haunt wasn’t available, went to one I found from Internet, nice smiley young Brunette receptionist offered me choice of Jaegermeister, Beer or Jack Daniels! ( I had a water - driving :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:)

Lad spends 1.5 hours “doing my hair” in what is becoming a Jack Grealish & sorts out the beard.

Receptionist walks in and goes “Oh wow”.

I may go back (by Tram next time) and partake of what seems to be on offer
