😃 The Little Pleasures of Everyday Life

Am sure there’s a joke about you and the old dears wrapping gums around a Werthers, but I’ll leave that to @scotty :joy:

I stayed well away from going down that road!

Day started with an 05:45 alarm call. 12 hours on the road/tour, now still up waiting to do an airport transfer after midnight. We are basically fully booked until New Year now, great but killing. Need to push because come Jan, ain’t likely to be anyone travelling anywhere again…FFS

I can’t improve a story involving Phil leaving four Scotswomen satisfied, armed only with thermal baths, Werthers Originals and his own pasty body. Respect. :+1::+1::grin:

Good old Amazon - collecting useless bread maker, but refunding the money.
After lesson learned with second bread maker, we have now researched and have ordered a Panasonic costing proper money, and from the video we watched the bread actually comes out looking like bread should look like.
Apparently Panasonic invented the bread maker, so probably should have gone with that one from the beginning - especially as friends have always had a Panasonic from time immemorial (legal term - means ā€œfor bloody agesā€) and have always said they were happy with it!
Reports on Panasonic performance will follow in due course (legal term - means ā€œif I rememberā€)

Feel I am getting ITK about living here.
This morning had to tug really hard to open the car door (stop it @scotty) as we had rain snow then freezing rain overnight
So, straight off to the local auto accessories store for this little can of magic.
Ā£1.80.

The big secret to car doors rubber seals and winter.
Silicone spray!

Go me!
Just fought my way through Gov websites in Polski and Downloaded my new EU Covid Certificate with the 3rd Jab details on it!
Mrs P_F replied with - so you don’t need me anymore then.

Perhaps Fook off while I get an upgrade was the wrong reply

Another tough day at work.

Ojcow National Park on way to the ā€œFairytale Castleā€
Bloody great weather to spend a total of 3 hours sitting in the Van.
And don’t worry @Cobham-Saint Snow pics coming at the weekend when I spend 5 or more hours 3,500 feet up the mountain

Can’t wait…

I am nice & warm in my Ā£10 a night ā€œpenthouse suiteā€ in Zakopane.
I am warm, had a great lunch with clients & chatted with my ā€œgirlfriendā€ Kinga (to book a table for Grandkids later this week)
I have food, beer and Vodka, but best of all?
Peace & quiet.
Astonishingly at the lunch location they have actually enjoyed a security guard and you are only allowed in with a successful Covid Passport scan.
Progress indeed

Is that Kinga from Big Brother who famously stuffed a wine bottle up her chuff on live tv?
