Our bird feeders are busy today on account of the cold.
The pecking order is fully established and quite amusing to watch
We also have three robins in the garden - that is not going to end well. They are already past the point of niggling agro

Been suffering another Arthritis attack in my foot this week. It is easing & new meds helping.
Tomorrow, PROVIDING I can get a shoe on my foot we are on a road trip.
Heading to visit "Mums family who we havent seen in over 8 years.
The shortest & most stunning route had Castles, Cathedrals on hills & Forests I so badly wanted to be able to stop & snap. Equally, that route had pot holes that broke more than 1 family car so we are taking a longer less picturesque route.
They are also in an immuno compromised bubble, I’m twitchy about going but if we wait & Kent Covid hits or Mrs P_F is working again we may never go

So.
This is Michael the singer not the fat git stereotype
Mrs P_F sang with him back in the sandpit days, he knocked the Wedding Singer stuff out of the park when we did the whole all nighter thing.
Anyhow.
With the demise in the music biz, he has turned to writing songs. He has a Polish thing coming out in March, linked to some TV stuff and will probably be massive Mrs P_F loved it.
He is also now writing English songs.
So for 4 hours today we been doing music.
Bloody great fun.
Brought out my inner James Blunt, Back Street Boys & AC/DC.
My job was to TRY and find proper English when hed done Engski. Have to say I rewrote a few lines and they actually worked in the melody & context. Yes there was a James Blunt/Ed Sheeran vibe to one - think I sharpened that up.
And he didnt realise but he has actually written a banging Anthem. He had in mind a boy band, we both slapped him & played some Foals, and AC/DC, even pulled up Whitesnake to get him to see how the tune worked just needed producing.
Cracking stuff. 8 songs “written”. and yes a deal agreed. Next task is to do English Covers of some of the banging Polish tunes around.

Mrs C_S and YoungAdult#1 are living in a house that is more than significantly aiding global warming and have just bought electric fleece blankets “to keep warm”

I have no idea how to change the individual settings in each room. My partner does that (the instructions are in a font and size I cannot read either). So I put on extra socks and jumpers/scarves. Today is the first time I got a hot water bottle out. I may have a bit of a circulation issue as my feet are like ice. But there is no way that heating is going up. Oh and to save the planet I have a heattech blanket - super warm (got me through cold Glasto nights) and no bit of electric in it.
