Give us a run down on each of them then :+1:

Ancho is the basic Mexican chilli - in everything not too hot
Habanero- mental hot
Arbol - searing heat but short lived
Pasilla- medium hot, Smokey earthy flavour - good for salsas
Guajillo - mild to medium - bright tangy taste - workhorse chilli like the ancho

Nice one- shall check it out. Always good to find a supplier someone else has used. Cheers :+1:

Mrs C_S and YoungAdult#2 will appreciate any purchases. YoungAdult#1 very definitely less so…

Checking the bank accounts and finding someone nice called “Sundries” has deposited nearly £600 in our Christmas & Birthdays account.
I am keeping stum at the moment; whether I develop a conscience and speak to the bank about giving it back remains to be seen. In an effort to look innocent at my trial, I have refrained from immediately moving it out of this account and into another.

Someone I know got an £8k tax break when they took an early pay-off from their career…simply under taxed on the lump sum payout.

Apparently he bought a classic car with the idea it would increase in value while the tax office bill would remain the same. They never caught up with him.

His advice. Shhhhhh. :lou_lol:

Did I ever mention that my mother worked for the tax office in Winchester? She was an inspector for 30 years.

Just thought I’d throw that out there. :sunglasses::grin::grin:

My friend tells me he took all the documents for the payout to the Tax Office in Ogle Road and asked them to check the figures. Two Tax Officers examined the documents and said, yes they thought they had been correctly applied.

My friend thanked them for their expert appraisal. :lou_lol:

My friend had checked with other friends who were paid off at the same time…they paid £8k more in tax. The only difference was their tax office was in Devon whilst my friends Office was South Wales.

He was puzzled but very grateful. :lou_lol:

Not being locked down.
Being more snowed in. Still.
The car is still a block of ice, we are still sub zero during the day the roads are still carnage.
Sure we COULD make a run to the shops but our village has a short hill to reach us, and each new snow flurry causes more cars to slide into the ditch or in front of a bus on the main road.
We should make it until Friday before I need to serve Baked Beans, Mini Mince Pies & Pickles for our evening meal
Back to the Duvet time.

My new lease car (well last July) has heated seats and heated steering wheel both unused because:

  1. Only driven it once in the last week.
  2. Not cold enough to push the buttons to turn them on.

Interesting combination there Phil, Baked beans, Mince Pies and Pickles. Your missus is a brave woman if she ventures under the duvet with you after that lot.

I hired a minibus once to drive some friends to Newquay for a stag party. It had heated seats which the previous hirer had left switched on! I couldn’t find the switch to turn the blessed thing off. My arse started to hurt after a while…
