As you may have seen I had a steroid injection between my C5 and C6 last night, got to the hospital (New Hall, private via NHS) at 18:30 but didnā€™t have the procedure until 20:00.

The procedure itself took 5 mins and was, relatively painless that is except for when they hit my nerve with something, talk about electric shock down my arm.

My arm is fine this morning so what is the annoyance I hear you ask???

I, subconsciously I guess, slept exclusively on my left shoulder last night and my rotator cuff now hurts like a bitch today!!

Spending my birthday having root canal work done at the dentist. Should be done by 2 pm so a few cold ones this afternoon, for medicinal purposes only of course. :beer:

Surprisingly enough it wasnā€™t too bad. I was receiving all sorts of horror stories from people who have had root canal work done, I never had. In the chair for 30 minutes, 20 minutes of drilling, when the anaesthetic started wearing off I was expecting the worst but it wasnā€™t too bad at all, a bit sore but not throbbing like a toothache. I managed four pints of ale anyway, then got off as it was obvious that it could have got a bit messy! Too many people wanting the excuse to celebrate my birthday by getting me pissed. That wasnā€™t happening! Just finished a large portion of chicken, chips and mushy peas with no ill effects. A result. :+1:
