😠 The Little Annoyances Of Everyday Life (Part 1)

…in other news, a thatched cottage has burned to the ground in the New Forest. Nobody was injured, but the neighbours complained about the smoke.:smile:

Some cunting bastard has done the same thing at Cobham Towers. All the windows open because there’s no breeze so the house stinks of burning leaves. I’m going to shit in a newspaper and set light to it on their fucking doorstep :rage:

Having to schlep up to London in this weather for our office summer party, where fun & a Hawaiian shirt is mandatory…

Still, there’s free booze and food and can some of us will then slip out to somewhere more convivial for a proper session….on company time.

Fuck. We’re sinking.

We saved the day by sweeping the water up to the drain. Genius design to put the drain up a hill.

On a management conference in Solihull.

Mandated fun at 6:30pm and all day god knows what tomorrow…

Wrong crowd to get ratted with.

Virgin Media email been out for nearly 24 hours. Seems to be country wide. :lou_eyes_to_sky:

I got out just in time then :sunglasses::sunglasses:

TBF We’ve had very little trouble with Virgin Media after renegotiating our package.

I thought Virgin email addresses were being pulled permanently? Mrs C_S had to get a new email address recently.

I don’t have a Virgin email address, I kept my old address when Virgin took over NTL.

I’ll look that up on Ask Jeeves. :+1::grin:

Being told in January by new dentist I need a crown removed and replaced because there was some decay under it and it would cost over £1k for the work.

Then having appointments cancelled last minute as regular as clockwork over the last 6 months.

So got an appointment with practice owner today who took another X-ray and compared it to all the previous ones and notes going back over 10 years, which all looked exactly the same….no decay.

Got a freebie full check up etc though.

Then Mrs C_S takes me on a spending spree at the local garden centre
