Under current rules the new supplier does not get customer credit balances from the failed supplier, so the costs of replacing these balances are shared across all customer bills.
I’ve tried to get suppliers to charge me what I use every month based on the monthly meter readings. There is invariably some reason why they “can’t” do it, or some excuse for charging more if they did. Now I know why.

Stay in Krakow, train to our village & 2 minutes walk to the Orthodontist.
I needed a 4 tooth bridge back when we played Arnhem £4500 in Dubai similar in UK.
£500 here. Used airmiles & bolted a side trip on from Holland.
