😠 The Little Annoyances Of Everyday Life (Part 1)

The biggest crimes when ordering drinks at a bar

  1. Ordering drinks one by one, and then making the last one a Guiness

  2. Ordering a cappuccino at any point

Having worked behind a bar I will add to that list: Ordering loads of drinks at a busy bar, grabbing 4 of them to deliver to the table and taking what seems like 10 minutes to return and pay, or worse ordering more.

I shall add more to the list :-

  • Saying “Can I get…” when ordering
  • Half a pint of shandy, really, what is the actual point?

Unless they were one of my American colleagues, who in her innocence, asked to see the cocktail menu at the Royal Oak in Frithham.

The old boy at the end of the bar almost choked on his pork pie

Luckily have an immersion heater (being used for the first time since it was installed about 8 yrs ago) and a roaring fire - doing our bit for global warming

Vets that are struggling to find out what is wrong with one of my dogs

Although you are probably paying them a lot of money to try and find out what is wrong you are still not paying them enough…

What’s happening to him, tigger?

He had an upset tum but as he has always had a sensitive tum that was no problem. Got the antibiotics and thought that would sort it. Instead he is drinking for England which is unusual. Blood work shows kidneys are fine, no diabetes or liver problems but a very high white cell count. More antibiotics and next week x-rays and possibly scans. Think they are checking for tumours. This is my boy, not happy

This it a typical smoke and mirrors ploy by the Govt.

A significant amount of people who need a lot of care are in a home (you try and get good quality timely medical care from social services or private firm when living at home.)

Accommodation in a home costs will eat up the alleged savings pretty damn quick. Even for the moderately well off.

Bastard Tories.
