Over 200,00 people expected and 5 hour traffic queues.
I turned down a job to take clients there this afternoon.

Fucking scalpers. Been looking for new hardware and can’t find it anywhere, except inflated at least 100 UKP over retail with dubious warranty rights. I hope the stock suddenly comes through and these cunts are left with a load of stock they can’t shift.
Asking the tour guide and the boss 5 times yesterday for the link/pin for the Covid Test lab I had to take my clients to today. And being told Luxmed by big chimney.

Just to annoy you, I have an interview tomorrow after being contacted by the principle (a REALLY big entity as well) not even a head hunter via LinkedIn.

I’ve just tried to do this on my phone, chromebook and computer. Every single device the “Close Account” button does nada, zip, nothing…
Tbf a few years back I got approached via LinkedIn by someone I vaguely knew from one of the large UK EBC’s & got offered a job paying over the odds to help with a start up area in the firm.
6 weeks in he disappeared from the face of the earth and I had to carry the can for best part of 18 months when I got a nice payoff and an NDA
Otherwise it’s largely been recruiters pestering me / motivational stories by shysters looking to make a quick buck & now Facebook personal stories. And adverts, lots of promoted posts selling shite. Rant over

My Mrs went to the hospital for treatment and the insurance company refused to pay for the treatment as my company had changed my assignment country to Equatorial Guinea and my country of residence back to the UK as that’s where I am at the moment. She is a Filipina in the Philippines for god sake. now trying to get both the insurance company and my company to talk to each other and to talk to the correct people in those company’s is proving to be a bit of a nightmare.
All due to Covid.

Your company will have an employee benefits firm who arranged the insurance policy. It’s their job to sort it. Tell your company to get them on the case and earn their fees / commission.
