I have a Samsung phone purchased in Malaysia. The grand kids got hold of it and tried putting the charging connection in upside down and broke the pins on the inside of the phone.
So take phone to Samsung dealership in the nearest shopping centre to where I am at present in the Philippines.
Explain that it is only the charging pins or the block that it is connected to require repair can you do it?
Not here our service centre is in Lipa (next biggest town)

ten mins later phone rings. Memberr of staff needs to give a serial number of phone to the service centre and tryās to turn it on.

No the charging pins donāt work. It has a flat battery.
He then gets a magnifying glass and reads the little info on the back out to the service centre and hands the service centre over to me to talk with.
We will need to open the phone sir.

It hasnāt the pins on the charging socket are broken.

I am not in the same town as you why can you not accept the phone in the dealership send it to the service centre repair the damaged pins and send it back? I will collect it here.

It was at this point I Calmly placed the shop assistants phone on the table (and not hurling it through the back wall) and walked out.
I will get the phone repaired in Malaysia when I go back to work.

I change my payment method. It insists my address and card are from UAE.
It wont accept payment.
I go to the contact us tab. I talk to a Bot that repeats the same text no matter what I put in.

Some features on Maps are blocked. It insists on telling me the time in Dubai.
Google wont accept the change in country either.
I can open a new account then about 17 years of photos will vanish.

Had similar issue with microsoft wanted to purchase office whilst in Philippines but could not pay with uk bank card. Then purchased licence in local supermarket downlaoded all apps then it would not recognise the security codes about 8 hours online with microsoft and actually giving them internet access to my laptop so they could sort it.
Yeah think Iām gonna have to pass the fate of my data to the wife & local office.
