I imagine heās trying because the cheeky cunt charged Ā£20 a ticket. He had a warm up act who was far better. Itās very difficult to express how poor he was or how angry he made me. I had to go and get very drunk afterwards and ended up in a nightclub. Me! In a nightclub at my age. With my reputation.

I saw him somewhere in Stoke in 82 or 83. He was indeed truly abysmal, possibly the worst performance Iāve ever endured at any gig, be it comedy or music. Really dreadful, how he got so far with so little talent baffles me.
And why idiots like @Fatso are still getting lured in to his shtick baffles me even more.

Get a call this morning. Order acknowledgements werenāt sending. Tracked it down and it appears that for us to send an acknowledgement, the customer needs to tell us theyāre ready.
The customer has not been telling us that. So we phone the customer, and they tell us chirpily āoh yeah, weāve been having problems with that system all morningā.
Would have been nice to know first, like.

A story (nay even an adventure) could be developing as I enter the backdoor portals of the National Health System to try to get a solution to the teeth problem.
So far it involves what seems to be a lot of negotiating, entering a dimly lit University Hospital that seems to be from an old Christopher Ecclestone set of Dr Who and some marvelously attractive young Polish students.
