😠 The Little Annoyances Of Everyday Life (Part 1)

Having to up cash in tokens and get the Ayatollah to pick me up because the stupid fucking council can’t be arsed to clear glass from the cycle lanes and I’ve had three punctures today

Maybe they don’t have the funds to clean it up?! :woman_shrugging:t2:

Indeed often “Street Cleaning” is the first to suffer during funding cuts. :lou_eyes_to_sky:

When Liverpool decided to become a city region, one of the reasons it did so was because it had no other choice. As funded, it would have ran out of money to provide mandatory legal services within a year.

That is perhaps not a surprise for Labour cities, but I was surprised when Northampton found itself in the exact same spot as Liverpool, despite being a Tory council and not having the city region option.

The helicopter that has been over our building for 2 hours!

It’s all that time you spent in South America. They’re on to you and your import business.

I really didn’t take up the opportunity on that business. Bringing loads of Peruvian hats and Brazilian bikinis (I sold quite a few on ebay on my return). Should have left all my clothes and filled my rucksack with them.

Me and my mate cornered the market in cheap alligator crocodile Lacoste tee shirts from Dubai in the late 80’ssuitcases of them came back bought for 10 dirhams sold for 30 quid each

Had another slight run in with that manager again today. I checked with the team manager and he said what I did was fine. But made me question myself a bit. Off on leave for two weeks so can forget it all.

Another of my first world probs.
Sat on plane after being boarded pretty early. Then heard some shouting.
Turns out some idiot bumped into the plane ith a small truck and so an engineer has to check to see if it is ok.

This could also go in the little pleasures of life as well.
