😠 The Little Annoyances Of Everyday Life (Part 1)

Being on holiday and having to endure JRM on the BBC news.

Getting your ipad and phone stolen from the garden whilst you weng inside to sort dinner out
This has been a bad trip home
Fucking bastards

Ensure or endure?

Endure!

Endure!

Lost my wallet and having to cancel my cards

Hsbc - awesome
Amex - ditto
Barclaycard - fucking useless

Go to replace my driving license, get through the entire process and on the final page “please enter your credit card details”

I am completely hamstrung

I had exactly the same issue with the driving licence correction having the same issue as not yet received my replacement card from Barclays.

When my partner proceeds to rewind whatever we just watched as he has missed bits. I’ve already explained those bits. He is now also listening at a much higher volume than my poor ears can cope.

Jo Swinson. The end.

Saw a tweet by someone (cannot find it now) say more Tories in the Lib Dems than Libdems.

Prior to this debacle, the reverse could be argued

To be fair the Tories who have now jumped ship and joined the Lib Dems are probably more Liberal than Bunty Swinson. She went through the Tory lobbies more often than Jeremy Hunt and Michael Gove. She is a Tory through and through. Oh look! “We must have a monument to Maggie Thatcher” says Jo Swinson.

May have been bitten by a horse fly last night. I don’t expect to get bitten by any insect in the UK.
Quite painful and not responding to the treatment I use for mosquitos.

Jo Swinson is really fucking annoying.

I saw her described today as being like an over enthusiastic, second rate sixth former in the elections for prefect. Pretty much spot on. I see she kicked out a Lib Dem candidate from the slate of prospective parliamentary candidates today for slagging off and insulting, ie telling the truth about Johnson, Gove and a few other Tories today. Showing her true colours and where her loyalties really lie. Some of the Lib Dem workers on the ground who have spent years knocking on doors must be mightily pissed off to see the likes of Berger, Chukka and the rest of the entryists swanning in and snapping up all the plum seats to stand in at the next election. Rumours today that Tom Watson is next to defect, lining him up for Cable’s seat. Good luck with that one! Give it six months and Berger will be accusing some of the Lib Dem faithful of being anti semitic. And i’m not joking.

In other words, the Lib Dems have finally got the leader they deserve. There will be no Cleggmania this time, not after the public got their number during their last spell in government.

They could have, and should have, walked away the moment they realised they were being used as political meat-shields, or were being done up.

Yes, it would have caused a minor constitutional crisis, but they could rightfully have said that “nope, our principles were stretched too far”, and they’d probably have been returned to Parliament in better shape than they were before.

Prior to their dalliance with power through the prism of the Tories, they’d always talked the talk.

Their only contribution to constitutional change is the disastrous Fixed Term Parliaments Act, one of the reasons we’re at the impasse we’re at now.

Their actual role was to validate and help legislate a rather nasty series of changes and make real the myth of austerity being an economic necessity rather than a political choice.

I’m glad they’ve found someone so annoying to lead them. She’s got the skills to send hard Remainers skittering to other parties.
