If you didnāt at one point exclaim āitās all Greek to meā, consider me disappointed.
Thatās annoying.
I mean, that would make it Twates.
Itās a good job I like you Bletch otherwsie I would be turning up at your, ever so popular, 3-a-side nights to demostrate how to mis-time tackles!
However that doesnāt explain the somewhat mystifying replacement of the I (india) in my surname with a Y (yankee)!
Living in Southampton city centre, I think itās a reasonable assumption that the catchment area for schools isnāt very large here. Thereās certainly not going to be a travel distance of more than a mile, for example - more likely itāll be half a mile or less. So I have to wonder why the parents are crazy enough to attempt to drive their children in. At peak times of day youāre not saving any time over travelling by foot anyway.
Yes - I walk into work so it doesnāt affect me directly - but I do try to look at the impact beyond the end of my own nose.
Itās utter chaos along the entirety of Archers Road in the morning. Some used to dump their cars in the car park of the derelict Archers Bar. Seeing as thatās being redeveloped theyāve taken to stopping anywhere along the road instead - generally either blocking one lane of traffic or the majority of the path. Hazard lights overawe zigzag lines or double yellows though, right?
Ant, Iām surprised at you.
the 21st century child is a frail and delicate thing unable to walk more that 20 yds without an xbox fix or mum wrapping them in a space blanket. And of course the street are literally crawling with peados now that they have all been banned from the church, scouts and the bbc.
Haha! Thatās the thing though, isnāt it - even if parents judge their kids to need supervision for the journey, in rush hour traffic itās going to be just as quick to do it on foot. Certainly is around here; my 0.6 mile walk to work takes 7-ish minutes. Simply driving the length of Archers Road can take that long between 8am and 9am.
Unless the rainās properly pissing it down - which even in this country has probably only affected my journey to work about a dozen times in the past year - I donāt see the logic in frustratingly sitting in traffic for 10 minutes+ over walking in at your own pace.
There are people in the city that legitimately need to drive their kids in - Iām making no bones about that. The problem is the other two-thirds that simply donāt.
whatās a space blanket?
Having to do training courses in your time off and not getting paid for them. This also heads towards having to attend seminars and not getting paid for them either during what should be relaxation time working lunches and during your off time and not being allowed to drink alcohol. Its my time for fuck sake, as you (the company ) are not wiling to pay for it.
When some fucking cunt reverses into your new van thatās parked outside your house and drives off like nothing has happened
Faith in mankind restored when neighbour pops across with photo of said cunts number plate
It beats paying tax.
Now fuck off.
Weāre any of your victims locked inside hurt?
This is what worried me! Fortunately I am now a chloroform expert so as long as nobody notices the steady stream of blood and piss leaking out we are all good

Well Bletch Maāam I do happen to pay tax just not income tax.
Every thing I buy has VAT or the Philippine equivelent on it and I have to pay rates on my expensive properties. So why should I not be paid for attending company events in my own time ? and attending safety courses that are regulatory to have for my position.
Hope you call the rozzers and land a nice 9 pt fuck you on their ass. Some low life scroat did this to me not so long ago. My 8 yr old nephew who happened to be with me got a whole new vocabulary to try out at homeā¦which he did.
The bigger question is. What was your neighbour doing with a camera at the ready whilst eying up your van across the road?
Trying to get shots of the victims without paying.
Have the local fuzz been down to inspect the van prior to the imminent arrest of the miscreant and how much bleach have you used to clean it?
The WPC has plenty of time to inspect the inside of the van
Are they Stockings or tights
In other words did her toes curl?
