Ever more proof that Johnson was unfit to govern- all the old Conservative voting dears who thought he was a lovely cheeky chappie must be turning in their graves…

No they aren’t - they are giving the whole Boris is right we should have let it rip and that his gravest mistake was bowing down to the blob

I think you were missing the hint that the conservative voting old dears ( or any old dear tbh) who died of covid must be turning in their graves. Perhaps I was being too subtle in my jocularity

I have a neighbour who told me when Boris became PM, he was the best thing to happen to this country since the war.
Truth is, he’s simply made the word CUNT acceptable in polite society.

I’m afraid it was blindingly obvious to anyone with a functioning brain cell that Johnson was totally unfit for the role of Prime Minister but people who probably consider themselves intelligent went ahead and voted for him and the party he led. Anyone who voted for the Tory party at the last election can’t escape that no matter how much they squirm now and slag Johnson off. And do you know what? If you ask Conservative party members now who they would like as next party leader the majority of them will say, Boris Johnson, the guy who wanted them dead, They’ll take one for the team.

Let’s hope the pandemic inquiry changes a few hearts and minds then.

Yep - however the alternative was Corbyn

For many (most as it turned out) people that was no choice.

Had Labour put up a centrist Brexit candidate, they would have pissed it.

Storm whatever the fuck its called incoming

Warnings gone out not to stockpile food - which of course will have entirely the opposite effect - who the fuck is doing that for a day or two of wind

You’d be surprised…

The company fannies are also beginning to chirp about getting into the office tomorrow

Had an email from the girls’ school saying we didn’t have to take them in tomorrow if we didn’t want to.

What has this country become, a little wind and rain and it’s panic stations.

I have found it is best to stock up on Gaviscon & air freshener in cases of wind warnings

Was just in the local Sainsbury’s doing the weekly shop and hardly anyone there and shelves all stocked. Go figure :man_shrugging:

Yeah but the queues at the Pharmacies…

It is such a special day here

The record low pressure barometer reading hurricane was all a bit of a damp squid.

Before you pull me up on that, in my experience, trying to light a damp squid is doomed to failure.
