On election day the queues were huge.
In Wroclaw, the polling station was supposed to shut at 9pm. The queue was all day never changing, so they stayed open until 2am Monday moring so everyone could vote.
People took blankets.
A local Pizza joint owner nearby called back his staff and they started cooking pizzas & handing them out to the queue. All mainly âkidsâ
For the past 2 days the Pizza joint has been swamped with online & telephone orders for Pizzas and the payment with the instructions - please do not deliver - we already ate.

Where to start with this one.
First of all it is horrific, I am still getting the chills from seeing this on the news here yesterday.
Then there is the whole âthings wrongâ with this.
So first up - the pedestrian crossing has been put in the wrong place - it should be at least a car length from the road, but it was moved because nobody used it - pedestrians were too lazy to walk 10m to the side.
Next up the SUV driver - a little old man in a big car. He never even saw the kid - physically impossible with the sight-lines from the drivers position.
Then there was the Kidsâ Mum who was looking after 3 other kids or something like that and hadnât noticed.
Anyway, outcome is Mum is probably going down for up to 5 years for Child neglect.
Kid is shaken not stirred. a complete miracleâŚ
Iâve just been watching the live coverage of the Covid enquiry on Sky News, Dominic Cummings is giving his version of events. Itâs been very funny so far, not sure if Sky viewers of a more delicate disposition than me will be enjoying it as much as I am.

Donât want to disagree with your sentiment or enjoyment, but at the same time, worth remembering just how open and honest this witness is/was.
