Initially his repeated God references were grating but now I’ve come around a bit and realised that prayer is more or less all we’ve got these days.

A wide man is fine provided they get on the end of chances not just be expected to create them. No fucking point creating chances for Che or A Armstrong when he needs 5 clear cut chances per goal scored.

Cue Bournemouth, Everton and Leeds links.

We still have the age old problem of 20m isn’t actually very much anymore if you’re trying to save your season.

If we were to offload Che, an objectively quite shit striker, I’d be gobsmacked if the asking was less then £20m.

How are we planning on getting someone who can actually score goals for less than say £35-40m which is the bracket our relegation rivals are striker shopping in. All we can get at £17m is a youngster or someone unproven - not exactly ideal when your PL future is dependent on goals…

Yeah but maybe he is aggressive? Maybe he has potency?

God willing, he’ll have both.

WTF is this? Is this the infamous ’Black Box’?

Football Manager apparently

I’m not sure how I should respond to that to be honest!

Which appears to be what the Yank Chelsea owner is playing with.

Too many bloody wide men / wingers as it is. We need a target man. Even if it is Mickey Evans mkIi.

Calling off a £20 million deal because the player won’t be available until 30 days later than expected.

Nice to see them looking at the long term.

January Window
Club record signing.
I rest my case.
Yes we need a goal scorer.
We don’t need a Carrillo

We need anyone who can hit a barn door with a banjo. None of our current fuckers have a clue (JWP excepted obvs, but he’s not a paid up striker).
