I’m sure he’d have come here like a shot.
Southampton have had a bid for Luton Town’s English full-back James Bree, 25, accepted.
Can he play up front?
Excellent another player with EFL experience to help us get ready for next season after relegation
Setting us up to sell one of our good right backs? Goodbye KWP perhaps.
We only have one ‘good’ RB at the moment, so I doubt we’ll sell him. In the summer maybe, but not this window.
Oops
40m for a crocked player?
Southampton make enquiries to Rennes over £40m rated Sulemana https://mol.im/a/11679143
still more likely to score than McAdams
Saints to pay £40m?? As likely as Mick Lynch voting Tory
Please confirm which story you’d like me to ‘comment’ on.
This one: “He hasn’t been able to play more than half-an-hour for Rennes since September.”
Or the ‘aggressive’ bloke from Luton. Which, having been to Luton before, could literally be anyone.
Don’t understand why we haven’t been in for a loan for Chris Wood. Big target man that would get on the end of JWP free kicks and corners. PL ready, big and nasty and his presence would give Che a bit more freedom up front. Missed a trick and lost out to Forest there i think. Better bet than some Ligue 1 chancer who no-one knows fuck all about and will take at least 6 games to get into his stride and even then is likely to prove shite.
Should we have him back??
I’d have him back here like a shot, but why would you think he’d come here?
When is next due to get out the treatment room and injure something else?
I think this is sensible
Rumours Tino won’t play again this season, leaves us KWP, Perraud & CB’s plus Lewis Payne as Full Backs. Lad looks to have a bit of height as well which we need desperately. Good squad cover.
But FFS find a striker

“Nominally a right-back, the versatile Yorkshireman can also operate on the right of midfield or as a centre-half”
Yeah, think Bertrand’s CV said the same
